As millions of people are building tent cities just miles away from these addresses because they don't have anywhere else to go.... As much as I love looking at these properties, the whole idea of them makes me sick when I think about what good that money could do for the masses.

more than this has already been wasted on handouts. people make their choices and live with the consequences of their choices. if they choose to drink or do drugs then they could end up in the homeless shelter. so then after billions have already been handed out to pay for other peoples bad choices, its time to let them live with their choices. no more handouts. the same goes for welfare recipients and all those who want freebies for one reason or another.

Not everyone is looking for a handout; some people genuinely fall on bad times for a number of reasons. That's NOT a reason to write them off. Technically, that is in West Los Angeles-Bel Air 90077 not 90210. Kind of blows the whole story it was only used for the driveway, the facade, the pool, the pond and the front gate shots. Everything else was in the studio. Maybe because at the time it may have been the grandest home in the Golden Triangle during production.

All the big lots got parceled off in the booming days of Beverly Hills. Even the historic Graystone Mansion is only in 16 acres. I'm not sure you can find a house on a 30 acre lot in the entire Los Angeles area

I'd rather not daydream, but work for it to be my reality! But what does a person need a home that big? When you are not going to have a big family and even if you did, you might not have them living in the same house. This is nothing, but house you'll literally become a ghost in! It's not that the Palazzo di Amore (the #1 most expensive house) isn't for sale, it's that nobody will BUY that gaudy pukepile. What a shame- it's on a gigantic, spectacular, one-of-a-kind lot, and they could have built something architecturally significant, but instead the developer built a vomitrocious faux-Mediterranean white elephant.
