So let me get this straight. She wants me to believe that she ran into her building after seeing the werewolf, decided to clock in and go right to work like nothing happened because that's normal. SEEN the wolf standing at the glass window after investigating the banging it had made to get her attention but again doesn't go to a safer location nor bothers to go for help. Instead sets there til the sun comes up and heads out for a smoke break. THEN sees the same wolf on the dumpster pissed off about a granola bar and she goes on about her day and life with some Nostalgia insight to the city? I know I need to work on the grammar here but I'm too WTF minded to care. I know over half of these stories are fake but damn at least put some logic in there somewhere if you're going to pass it off as "real".

So, after seeing that creature that person wants me to believe they walked outside in the dark..... for a cigarette?! If the building was empty at the time, who was there to complain about the cigarette smoke? 🤔🙄

I let out a deep breath as I fill the sink to wash the dinner dishes while listening to my favorite narrator, Darkness Prevails. It's been a stressful day and I've been looking forward to this. I'm getting into the story while I scrub away and hear my family snoring all over the house after a good meal. Then, at the best part in the story, there's a pause... I gasp and run to my phone that's charging on the counter while I listen, but I'm too late. "Bam BAM Bam" goes the overly loud, obnoxious ad music while I fumble with soapy hands, trying to pause the video, but it doesn't work. "Bam BAM Bam" goes the music, so much louder and intrusive than the story itself, which I was really enjoying. Finally I hit the side button and turn my phone off completely, listening to the silence in the house...then I hear it: Stomp, Stomp, STOMPING and my heart sinks. For a moment I think of hiding, but I'm not fast enough. My 5 year old stomps sleepily into the kitchen, asking what those loud noises are that woke her up (and ruined my night of peaceful cleaning and scary stories). I slump, defeated. "That was just a Facebook ad, honey. Let's get you back to bed."

Darkness, idk if the ppl who send in their stories are all wonderful writers, or if it's just you, knowing how to make the stories sound incredible?!?! I do listen to a lot of other narrators bc I enjoy hearing true scary stories, but not one of them has anything on you!! Some, I have to stop listening to bc it's just not good, the reading, not the story.. Story #1: I used to be a member of the church. Anyway, what a terrifying encounter with four Skinwalkers! I’m glad the missionaries weren’t harmed and that the authoritative missionary used the power of God. I have a friend who actually encountered a Skinwalker while serving her mission in Utah. She was on her bike making her way back to her apartment at night when she saw one following her. She was really terrified.

Is it just that I notice it more because I live in Salt Lake City, or are there a disproportionate number of weird encounters involving Utah/Mormons/Mormon missionaries? Maybe Utah is just an even weirder place than we think? Or maybe pairs of barely-graduated from high school kids in some of the most impoverished parts of the country and world tend have a high probability of weird encounters?
