The rules shouldn't allow a team to take that long after someone lagged out or "lagged out" since it can lead to problems like this. Throughout the the game you all never got back into the flow because when the guy quit and then made you all wait a half an hour. They should have a limited wait time for 10 mins and if the other team never communicated to say why its taking so long then it should be an automatic loss.
