That recurve tanto is so sick. It's just the sharpening of it. Still looks sweet but still haven't mastered it yet confidently enough to buy them. If they was heat treating near the mid 60s it would be really nice.

Always showing some sweet knives over this way 👍👍. Proud of you bro . Does your rex45 manix2 take and keep a fine razor edge or does that steel like 4-600 grit . I went to a 1000 a couple times and it seemed like the factory bevel 17 ish wasn’t holding very well . I’m in the 4 th edge off a Hapstone with Venev . Them Venev s hardly leave a burr or is it me ? Thanks oh yeah ,the dullness was around the tip area to an inch down . The rest actually did hold an edge . Maybe I need to remove a little more near the issue ? Either way if it don’t hold i ll be using the other two manix 2 s . I also think the applied weapons technologies scales on the Manix 2 are the mf ing bomb .

Theres a switchblade called the Hendrix Hell Hawk with ti scales and m390 that looks SO similar to that blue bestech. If its also an Ostap design I’m surprised it isnt as well known

It's too bad there isn't a completely modular knife model where the creator keeps coming up with new blade shapes/steels depending on use case and new scales. Just keep coming up with new stuff for that ONE design. Easily changeable blades/scales/pocket clips. That way of designers want to collaborate with the company all they would have to do is design a blade, pick a new scale design/material and design a pocket clip. Buy the parts in a kit or something.

Not until Chinese production starts to cost what it actually should…no need for modular. These “designer” are making way too much money as is. It’s possible, one day but not with current price manipulation.
