This is the story of 5 people who vanished in Alaska. Alaska is enormous, and one of the most rugged and vast landscapes in North America. It's a place where dozens of people go missing every year. Currently, there are over 300 active missing persons cases open in Alaska - with hundreds more being forgotten, or lost over the course of time. These are just a few of the stories.

WoW!! An Alaskan telling stories/missing person cases in Alaska, this is incredible!! I'm also from here, I don't know how I missed these cases, so much can happen here. I recall the young female torsos that were washing up in South Anchorage back around 2000'ish, somehow in my mind I connected it to the AIH/Veco scandal but not much was followed up in the news. Do you have any info, opinion, or updates? All in all, I am impressed with your channel, incredible detail with pics/news clippings. Thank you, I subbed & am excited for uploads. AweSome!!

I just recently found your channel and am now subscribed. Excellent presentation of the above cases, and very well researched. You have a great voice for narrating also. I had not heard of a few of those cases, so it is refreshing, if you can call it that for such a grim subject. Hopefully, your coverage of these cases will lead to some new answers, and help get these solved. Thank you for a great video, and for sharing with us all.

I am from South Central, and I've lived here my whole life. Alaska is a dangerous place, i wouldn't go anywhere alone. Rip to the missing and lost😢

@@northerncrimes I just watched your murder mountain. I have property just to the south. Things are looking better as the money in growing is gone. The number of people that vanished is very disturbing. Thanks for showing what happened up there!

Even back in 2004 didn’t the bus stations have cameras? We didn’t come up for the first time til 2014 and moved here in 2016. Honestly I was surprised even then that Alaska had and used the technology it has.

Wow, I think Mr. Bonds was abducted or left the parking area in another car planning to be brought back. Probably some sort of deal gone wrong. So sad.

One thing I know about the Sisof case was a women there that night at the camp ground told state troopers there was a man who worked at the camp ground who made her feel very uneasy. He was frequently seen throughout the night just popping up out of nowhere. she was very uncomfortable by this it seemed very offputting and not normal for the workers to keep engaging and trying to maybe seem as if scoping out women. It was immediately the first thing that came into mind when she learned of Valorie missing from the campground. I got this information from my boyfriend, he knew a girl who was at the camp ground the night of her disappearance. She said she did mention this to the state troopers so I assume it was looked into as a person of interest? Well I very well hope it was.

In the Bond's disappearance, did the police look into any connection to the custody battle he was in the midst of???

I would imagine so. Impossible to say without looking at case files (which are still sealed).

Usually, it is someone we know that takes us out of this world if foul play is suspected. I THINK many cases are walk away, or known killer. Sadly the family suffers never knowing

Chugach National Forest is reputed 2 have mutant monkeys(no joke)that R meat eaters+many Grizzly/Brown Bear,wolves etc..sorry he went out by himself...spent 1st 33 yrs of my life in Alaska+lived in Seward&Anchorage after growing up Southeast Alaska...Lots of unknown creatures roaming in those woods in thee entire state...BE CAREFUL if go there...
