ME PREGUNTO; cual es la razón por la cual Andrea Quarta tiene como costumbre hacer el intento de golpear la bola cuando se encuentra en el centro, cerquita de los palos, sabiendo que, con su altura ....obligadamente tendrá que tirar con un taco largo o ponerle la extensión al suyo. LO HACE A PROPÓSITO?

esa es una pregunta rara... No es Quarta quien decide dónde cae su bola después del tiro del oponente. Sucede que a veces la bola se detiene en esa zona y necesitas una extensión para tirarla

Grazie per la condivisione. Se posso permettermi, sentire "kiss" ed "english" usati ogni volta al posto di "rimpallo' ed "effetto" fa venire la pelle d'oca 😬. Meglio "rebound" (o al massimo "bounce back") e "spin".

in realtà sul rimpallo avete torto entrambi, ma tu un po' di più. Seguo regolarmente le telecronache in inglese dello snooker e il rimpallo in inglese si dice "double kiss". "Rebound" significa rimbalzo o rimbalzare, quindi in ambito biliardistico eventualmente dalla sponda. Per quanto concerne l'effetto hai nuovamente torto. Negli Stati Uniti si dice "english", mentre nel Regno Unito lo chiamano "side", quindi si può scegliere fra questi due termini. Lo "spin" è la rotazione della bilia, che è la conseguenza dell'effetto impartito.

@@luciustarquiniuspriscus1408 è una pronuncia un po' fantasiosa di "cushion shot" cioè tiro di sponda. In realtà in quella parola la "u" si pronuncia "u". In ogni caso in inglese sarebbe preferibile dire "kick shot", cioè tiro di calcio come in italiano.

Io ho giocato molto anni il biliardo e conosco molto bene sia Quarta che Aniello io in queste prime due partite non riconosco Quarta ,non vorrei che sono d'accordo

when you hear italians talk about this game: you need more skill for this game than normal billiards or snooker. im an amature billiards player and when i see these guys miss bankshots over 3 cushions with 2 balls in the corner i cringe.... lets hope for italy that belgian and dutch players dont practice this game.... theyd have 8 players in top 10 of the world
