Seeing this game's long development, it makes me glad this isn't a publisher owned IP, where the publisher owns and funds the IP/project and _not_ the devs. Had this been a Square Enix, Capcom, Bandai Namco, or even Sony owned IP, the game's development would've been a very different story.

Just a heads up, they most likely can't just translate a model from rising to relink. The way they need to operate would be very different, so they would need to be rigged differently and they don't have the same level of detail either there's very unlikely any reduced workload between the two. Also, since Versus Rising is developed by a completely different and private studio, they probably do not share technology.

Sandalphon being playable would be amazing! I would love if they adapted the "What Makes the Sky Blue" storyline. That's an amazing story for people to meet and see Sandalphon's character

Vikala would be awesome. I can see her ballons working like Rosetta’s roses. You place them all over the field giving your party support buffs.

Honestly i would love to see vira in the game. Mainly for a fate episode of her and Katalina fighting 😂

Not having played the mobile game or versus but just looking at all the possible characters my top 5 wanted list would look something like this: 1. Magisa 2. Lucio 3. Belial 4. Ilsa 5. Zooey Not gonna happen bonus. Michael These were based on design, jp voices and playstyle

I expect Sandalphon to be added to both Versus and Relink due to the fact that he always tops the popularity charts. Plus he's cool and loves coffee also the Sandalphon you showed in the vid is a "what if" version of him where he turns pure evil. They might add in the regular Sandalphon (who is still a pretty badass character despite not being "full" power)

I would go crazy if they added KOS-MOS from Xenosaga as a playable character in GB: Relink as a collab!

I don't know enough about the individual characters. Anila would be awesome, we don't have a polearm user yet. Beatrix looks awesome too. Wouldn't be surprised to see 2B as a collab unit. I'd love to see a Monster Hunter collab, as unlikely as that is. But it would be perfect cuz giant monsters.

This is the only game I wish was a game as a service, It's been a little worrisome how other than the new boss and 2 new characters, there might not be much else post release. The mobile game has so many cool characters and collabs, It would have been so sick to have new bosses, collabs and events regularly. I want at least a male spellcaster.

Sharlotta and Io are considered Light element, Vane is earth and Yodarha is wind, not water for any of those. Yes, they do have water versions, but generally they're NOT considered as water characters.

Also need to consider that they seem to want a 50/50 male a female split. We need a male caster and female gunners. Need male polearm wielder and a female pugilist or striker. Sandalphon probably not happening. Grimner would be nice. Aila is definitely happening for sure if they make more after duo in april.

I don't think they are gonna use assets from versus and use it to relink. The most they can do with it is use it as a reference. And versus and relink uses completely diffferent engines. And we have cases where a game in development are moved to different engines and a lot of the assets made in the first one are scrapped and made new ones for the new engine.

Not trying to Gatekeep but seeing you make guesses on Characters and a Franchise you seem to know barely anything about is kinda strange and just seems like following the newest trend. At least do some research on the Franchise and the characters, man. Personally, I'd love to see Characters that arent in Rising, for diversity. Sandalphon is literally the fan favorite Character, so he's a no-brainer. I'd prefer an Evoker that wasnt Nier, hoping for Alanaan, personally but wouldnt mind the others either. Grimnir I'd replace with one of the Archangels or maybe even Halluel&Malluel, as a duo character they could have a unique Playstyle for sure. Vikala is good though, she's my favorite Divine General

Dont agree with these 5 options, except for Beatrix, because shes coming soon also for Versus Rising, it woudl be weird if shes not coming for Relink too, as she belongs basically together with Zeta. My Wishlist/ Hopes and Predictions are rather 1) Beatrix 2) Anre 3) Soriz 4) Anila 5) Metera to make first more of the fitting options from Versus playable in Relink too. However, the IP has so many cool characters, its basically a never ending money maker for Cygames to add constantly for both games always more characters. But these named 5s I think woudl make the most sense and I'm very surprised, that the first two DLC characters are somethign totally new and not first say Beatrix and Metera or Anre and Metera. In the end its very likely, that they will add Characters, which will broaden the versatility of the already existign weapon types, that are covere,d as eventually add new characters, that logically aren't way too exotic, that they have for a single character extra a complete new weapon type, just so that the character can work in the game.

I'm almost sure Grimnir will be added in the future, he's becoming one of the fan's favorite. Personally I want more mages like Chat Noir with his magic cards and some melee fighting characters like Feather (fists) and Randall (kicks). I'm pretty sure Relink will be a blast and the development team is ready to bring a lot of characters as dlc.
