1. Protect your heart from bad/wrong guys. 2. Open your heart to good guys. (Be honest with them and communicate. Thoughts and concerns.) 3. Know self worth. 4. Have them earn your worth, because if they don’t they are likely to blow it or not care too much. 5. Be rational. (Balance emotions and logic. Emotions can blow things out of proportion and screw it up, or you’ll be in denial.) You’re welcome. If you want to watch it still, it starts 10:00 or 14:00 mark. Good luck and love yourself.

WOW, THIS IS REALLY GREAT ADVICE. It's so important for women to put themselves first and protect their heart. Not having the discipline or boundaries in place can cost so much and eventually lead to a lot of pain!
@sandersonsister_117 жыл бұрын
There's a lot of negative comments here. If you aren't willing to be patient enough to listen to a 30 minute video that could help you out a lot, maybe that's why you're single. Listen to the man. He has a lot of good things to say whether you think it's "timely" or not. What's 30 minutes to you if you get something good out of what he's saying v.s. a life time of making the same mistakes over and over again.

I didn’t click the video to listen to something I didn’t click for when the video says what I clicked for. Has nothing to do with not able to be patient or can’t listen. It’s simply the fact that it was an unnecessary long intro for him to make a video long enough if he wanted to insert ad rev and make more money. That’s just my opinion agree to disagree if you think otherwise.

I have been divorced for 3 years and haven't had the desire to date. I've been trying to heal, find myself, and love me. I want to go about it the right way this time. I want to be prepared, confident and know what kind of man I want before I start dating. You have given me hope and a great plan of action. I look forward to learning so much more from you.

1. Protect your own heart from the wrong guy (your feelings will grow if you spend time with him so don’t spend time if there is no future) Remove temptation. If the guy is not giving you enough, move on. No disappearing act. 2. Open your heart ❤️ up to the right guy. Open & honest about what you really want. 3. Know your own worth. The only way a man will commit to you is if being with you is better than being by himself. 4. Make him earn your worth. Must have to invest his time & energy into you to want to commit to you! 5. Be rational.

The issue is that I don’t want a guy in his mid 30s who’s deceived, betrayed, lied and cheated on a number of girls because he liked the casual sex and occasional date. I met a guy who came clean and said he was friends with benefits with two girls and had no intention of getting into a relationship with them. However, he could tell that I’m a classy, university educated girl with a masters degree who loves adventure and travel and wanted to date me. WTF??? I honestly rolled my eyes and walked away. I don’t want to settle with a guy who’s a man whore and deceived girls and ghosted. This is below my standards. I don’t really care if he’s now 40 and sobered up and is soooo sad on Christmas Eve because he doesn’t have a Christmas tree, lovely wife and soccer star kids. I want a quality guy and even if he’s cleaned up his act, from what I can tell the stench is still there and no one is blind to that

Oh damn, I didn't realize a freedom fighter was a term for just wanting to play the field. Maybe that's why I had such a horrible time with quality lasting results in relationships I was actually interested in pursuing in the past. I used the term freedom fighter thinking it meant the freedom to be myself, freedom to choose the right relationship and not feel like I had to settle. I've had guys actually pray for me to be with them or stay with them, and pray for me to come back to them when I left for a good reason. One incredibly manipulative guy tried convincing me we were meant to be by saying God told him I was sent to him, God told him I was suppose to be his wife, that a man isn't suppose to be alone, etc. I actually feel like I should've put a restraining order out on one of them that just couldn't take the hint that I was seriously not interested. Freedom from manipulative relationships is something I'm willing to fight for. 👼
