I was struggling with a secret sin for over a year. I cannot describe how lonely it made me feel. This video really gave me that little "nudge" I needed to tell my small group at my church about what I was struggling with. (Which I had been avoiding) If anyone reading this is dealing with a secret sin right now, I encourage you to tell someone, bring your sin to light! Yes, it's hard, and yes, it's scary, but I promise you, it is worth it. Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Thank you GirlDefined! I would encourage anyone struggling with any sin to find and get plugged in to a Celebrate Recovery group. It is not only for addicts. I started out just volunteering for the childcare during some meetings and wound up loving attending.

Tracy Lopez I have also struggled with lust and just encourage you to wait until marriage. The world will tell you differently but it will all be worth it in the end. Romans 12:2 is an amazing verse! I would look at some of Emily Wilson's videos. They are great help!

lexi Ogan, I'm not an expert but I believe we need to tell people in order to get better. The key is telling the RIGHT people. To me the right person is someone older than me, but still someone relatable maybe 7 to 10 years older. It honestly depends, but they have to be the same gender and can't still be struggling greatly in that same sin as you. If you still aren't sure on whether you should tell some read these: Proverbs 27:17, Galations 6:1-5, James 5:16, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, and many more. My sister is eight years older than me and she comes to me for accountability with certain topics. I chose different people for different things. I hope I helped.
