I wonder if there is a similar thing from the Galactic Civil War. Are there groups that the Rebel Alliance worked with/supported that then became a problem for them after they became the New Republic? I can think of a few examples of anti-Imperial factions that became hostile later (the Yevetha in Legends and the Nikita cartel in Canon that rose out of the destruction of the Hutts), but none where the Rebels directly worked with them beforehand. Maybe Bo Katan's Mandalore had some scuffles with the Republic?

I thought Fenn Rau decided to join the rebels when he found out that his men weren't killed because of the deal they had with the rebels, Saxon was going to kill them anyway and it just served as an excuse. Also Fenn Rau and Gar Saxon are played by the guys who played Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo, legionaries from Caesar's Legio XIII and two of the best bros in the history of brodom. Ironic that they were enemies in Rebels.

I personnel never understood why the Jedi were hesitant to help the Onderon Rebels. The Planet was technically an Enemy world, meaning that the Republic had every right to attack it. Also, though I would say that some of the Onderon Rebels like Saw could be considered extremists, I never see how they could be terrorists, as that can only be applied when groups use terror as a weapon, which they weren’t trying to do, and it makes no sense for the Republic to consider helping them mean supporting terrorism, since they had no proof these rebels were committing acts of terror. IDK just a rant, great video!
