Hi, I was just wondering which is your favourite Shakespearean play to teach for GCSE, your favourite 19th century novel, your favourite modern text, and also which poetry anthology you teach for GCSE AQA.

Favourites: - Shakespeare play by far is Macbeth; - 19th Century is Jekyll and Hyde (I wish more schools picked it); - modern text is Animal Farm (Orwell is one of my top, top novelists - I've read all his books); - Poetry - definitely Power & Conflict is my fave collection 😃

@@FirstRateTutors wow my school does these options:- 1. Shakespeare (Macbeth) 2. 19th century novel (either Jekyll and Hyde or Christmas Carol, depending on ur teachers preference) 3. Modern text (either inspector calls or animal farm, depends) 4. Power and Conflict I do Macbeth, jekyll and Hyde, inspector calls, and power and conflict
