I have a question, if the beneficiary was once arrested for a shoplifting crime in their foreign country for an item that was worth $10 and was not convicted but was let go on a warning? We are preparing for the interview. We haven’t filled up the D160 form yet , on the i29 form we only included the petitioners criminal history . Well only now include the beneficiary’s criminal history. Will this be an issue

i’m at the final stage with my fiancé who is in Manila and the people that put together our package are saying that we need to have a police clearance from Hong Kong because she worked there for 10 years even though she hasn’t worked there in the last three years do you know if this is still true? I reached out to the Embassy since there’s no information that states that that’s required at first and the embassy referred us back to the NBI which is the police report from Manila they didn’t say that we needed to get the one from Hong Kong do you know if this provision has been changed?

Hello! I got my tourist visa last October 2021 and went to the US for tour last December 2022. I got my visa before I met my American BF, now my fiancé. I stayed with him for my entire tour there, (Almost a month). We have a lot of photos and also some photos together with his family. My question is, is it necessary for him to come with me in the Philippines so we can have family photos with my family too? What we have were only screenshot photos when we video call with my kids, since it's one of the requirements on applying a fiancé visa. It gets annoying how I hear this point repeat it over and over again that people with certain criminal charges cannot get a K-1 visa. That is complete nonsense. The only charges that will stop you from getting a K-1 visa are charges that are sexual in nature.
