Thank you for restoring my faith in Looooo after "The Fumble." I would love to see him as an addition to the power backs that we have. With such a group we can pound the defense with hard running and always have a fresh power back ready.

This is a great video! People are forgetting about Hunter and he will keep getting better as a blocker AND as a runner. He has huge upside that the team will benefit from this season. And I know this might sound crazy but in the future I can see him being a full on RB/FB too paired with someone great out of the draft next year.

Despite the fumble / missed hand off, Hunter is the best goal line and short yardage back on the team and it's not even close. They need to use him more!

Great breakdown. I loved him pre-draft too... I played MLB/SS and FB/H-back thru HS and many yrs semi pro so I appreciate all the little things and the dirty work... love your analysis and I just subscribed

I can’t believe he’s a fullback with that footwork and quickness

Hunter I believe can get us good yardage and definitely short yardage/ goal line plays I saw it last season they need to utilize him more this season 💯💪🏼💪🏼👀👀

That 1 fumble shouldn't overshadow the good things he did. I also think about thar last preseason game where they featured him as a rb and he did awesome.

Love this man!! He can be a great receiving back!! Sounds weird bc of his size, but he is a broken tackle and make a man miss away from a td inside the 20 all the time.

They just never went back to him after that Miami fumble not just for that game but the rest of the season

Uggh….just thinking about that Miami game makes me sick, should’ve won that one for sure. Anyway, I agree that Luepke can make more of an impact, “if” they’ll just give him some more touches.
@jamespanagopoulos50835 күн бұрын
Agreed on both counts. That Miami game 🤦♂️ should of been a win

Foots I’ve been a COWBOYS fan since 1979-80, so I’ve seen a lot. I agree that Leupke is under utilized. I think the RB and TE rooms are too packed. 9 & 42 are competing for the same snaps. Nah on 86 now that we have the big rookie. Leupke should get 86’s snaps from the FB and H back spots. I think he should be used like Tom Rathman and Roger Craig were used by the 49s. And I’m sorry to sadly say that we may not need Zeke. Line him in the eye with 23 in the backfield. 4th quarter 40 in the BF, 7 yards deep, in a dbl TE set and pound the ball. Just a thought.

I been saying this in everyone comments.. Luepke is physical as hell. Cowboys should have given him more reps. I would even use him like Mike Alstott
@franciscodiaz38926 күн бұрын
Yeah, he's made a tremendous impact since he's been here. We certainly could've used his physical prowess against Green Bay. (Sarc)😮😅😂

I been saying this. Severely under utilized. I want to see more carries around RB not just FB. He did great in pre season and he’s definitely better than Vaughn. I wouldn’t be suprised if that’s why they didn’t draft a back because they know what he can develop into. If they keep him at FB then he can be as effective as kyle juszczyk

Hunter has a lot to offer they need to play him more so he can get going.

I for one have always been on the Hunter Luepke train. He's a hybrid between Mike Alstott and Kyle Juszczyk if you look up the term football player you'll see a picture of Hunter. If we get rid of this guy we'll regret it BOOK IT! Big Mike needs to give Hunter more shine at running the rock with a sprinkle of Zeke, Rico and Deuce out running game is solid
@jamespanagopoulos50835 күн бұрын
The kid can play. I know the fumble was bad but it’s one friggin play. I feel the team severely underused him and Deuce all year long.
@deltonsr7 күн бұрын
Yep he is a secret cause all he is going to be on that team is a blocker unless McCarthy or the OC wakes up and realizes this guy's ability and i hope his usage isn't being blamed on that one fumble. The opponent still had to go a 100 yard even though it was missed points!

Hunter can do damage. Dallas has to use these players. They are young and there's a lot of players they've yet to play.

Fullback in the NFL = big RB that isn't good enough to be a RB(like how Henry is bigger than Luepke, but there's a reason he's a RB instead of an FB), small TE that isn't good enough to be a TE I like him for doing Fullbacky things, but I don't need to see the ball in his hands
