“Feminism today is not what it used to be” - nailed it!!

Thank you for making sharing your thoughts about this! I completely agree. The main reason why feminism is a flawed ideology is because feminism teaches people that gender roles are social constructs. What feminists fail to realize is that men and women are different. Studies have shown this. It's not a social construct that mothers are the primary caregivers. It's not a social construct that men are more aggressive than women. Heck, studies have even shown that it's not a social construct that girls like to play with dolls and that boys like to play with other toys. Feminism goes against the natural order of things. Feminism teaches women and men to go against their own nature. It has gotten to the point where men are becoming women, and women are becoming men. Feminism has very little to do with equality. It has everything to do with trying to make everyone genderless. Biology is real whether feminists like it or not.

You deserve a big round of applause, you are right when you say that today the mentality of our society is that if you are a woman you must also be a feminist! I am wife and mother and I have two teenage daughters and I see, in Italy, where I live, the great difference that there is in the treatment that my daughters receive, at school as in their daily lives, from their male friends but it is also true that feminism, as you say well, does not support all women but only a certain category of women. And this is discrimination in my opinion.

Agreed. The women in the first world are treated well. Female oppression is still alive and well in the Middle East though.

So as a feminist myself, I disagree with your views against feminism, but would it be accurate to say that you're politically egalitarian? From what you described, it sounds like you don't have an issue with equal legal rights.

But,... but,... I want to have my cake and eat it too. Find older feminists snd decide how happy they seem.

I respect your opinion and I strongly appreciate that your reasons are well thought out. I also understand what you mean when women in other countries suffer more however feminism in the US for example supports and speaks up for women everywhere but if we live in the US we obviously want to improve women’s lives in our own country. I strongly believe women actually are oppressed and not equal to men in our society. For example it can be sexual assault in the workplace or catcalling in the streets. Women’s bodies are regulated and most of the time it’s by men like the new Texas law that offers 10 000$ to anyone telling on someone getting an illegal abortion. It’s completely outrageous. Women get paid less than a man for the exact same job and the patriarchy expects women to do most of the house chores and take of the children….
