wow! thank you for actually including photographs, instead of a 10 minute video talking about a lens with not a single picture in sight.. you deserve 1000 likes for that alone.

I took my 35mm on the Sony a7iii and did a photo shoot of a dance group. I did headshots, half body shots, full body, couples and group shots. Then i did artsy shots! I have to thank you so much for helping me to take this plunge! I did a great photography course but lacked the courage and really wanted to get started. Your videos built up my confidence to do this! I really needed to tell you above all the videos I watched that yours made this possible! I used your video examples for posing, natural lighting and choosing the angles...it was amazing! I am not a social butterfly and iit took effort to get myself out there! This was a donated shoot but a lady there is hiring me for a dog shoot next.. It will help me now to move forward... Often a person puts up these type of videos...they never know how it can change a persons life! I wanted you to know! I spent alot of time learning lightroom and all kinds of techniques! Thank you!!

I love my 35mm! I haven't done a lot of traveling with it but I do use it often because I love the "wide-ness" :)

I eventually got my hands on the 35mm f2 and I found it to be super versatile for my travel and street needs as well as run n gun filming! I wasn't big on 35mm before but now I absolutely love it - Awesome vid and reasons, keep it up!

I really enjoy the 35mm focal length, but I find myself switching over to the Fuji X100 in order to shoot at 35mm. It's more enjoyable for me on that camera for some reason.

Literally bought a 35 1.4 just because you convinced me awhile back lol

Think of it this way - with a narrower focal length, you have the opportunity to take more pictures of the same landscape, with each aspect of the landscape having its own image. So i would take both 35mm and narrower.

I just ordered this lens this week and I'm waiting for it to come in. Sooo stoked to start using it :)

I have the sigma 35 1.4 art and it has become my go to lens. Indoors it’s just brilliant, low light amazing, and it’s kinda small and suuuuper sharp

I had the 35 1.4 and since switched to the canon 35 f2 IS and never looked back! It’s sharper, lighter, smaller, half the price, and has IS.

Really excellent summary of how best to use a 35mm lens. You have inspired me to choose my 35mm for portraits - something I have not considered before.

I recently went on a 3 week trip and to save weight I just dtuvk with my 35mm lens and thought "oh gosh, I hope that'll work out.." but yeah, I had to move a little more for some of my shots but in the end I was pretty happy with the desicion😊

Interesting. I shoot Nikon and recently bought a 35mm prime (I also have a 20, 50, 60 macro, 85, and a few zoom lenses). I find I have the 35 on the camera more and more. It seems so versatile for landscapes, interior shots (events, etc.), street photography, etc. I recently brought it on a trip to Florida and it rarely left the camera.

I have a crop sensor and I'm debating on getting a 24mm or 35mm. I do a lot of street photography but I do enjoy the fact that I can single out my composition on a tighter lens.

You might have said exactly the same for 50mm lens... This is my favorite focal lens for travel or my every day photographies, because of it's versatility. And I find it better than 35mm notably for portraiture.

Have to agree 100%. A 35mm is the perfect focal length for environmental portraits that tell a story. It’s a bit heavier, but you’ll love the 35mm 1.4 L II: it’s one of the sharpest, nicest-rendering lenses I’ve ever had the chance to use.
