My thoughts on Sub Zero: Very good mix up character that offers a lot of tools to control space. Combining his mix up and practical crushing blows.... that is one scary ice cream man.

Both Scrpion and Subzero are always the starters in many of the series. Like the Street fighter and their Ken and Ryu to MKs Scorpion & Subzero and similarities between their connection to one another.

Sub zero is cool but I feel we are missing one of his most powerful defensive moves from mk9: Ice clone. Very quick move that traps the opponent instantly

@@MadDoggGames I really love him. I'm a Sub Zero loyalist since MK1 so I'm super biased. I think he's super balanced. I find I have to work quite hard for the win against most players. I find the zoners give me a lot of trouble. I'll be happy if he stays mostly in tact for the games life

I always loved sub zero even when I was a kid.I originally chose him because I liked the idea of a blue ninja.But then I hit my first ice attack.Ever since then I always loved playing sub zero. my dad for as long as I remember had played scorpion.I wanted to but I didn’t want to copy him so instead I chose the blue ninja.And boy I’m glad I did.he is by far my favorite mortal Kombat character.

I main Sub Zero because I just like the character but he does have great moves and combos too he is very easy to use as well so I highly recommend using him if you’re just starting 😊👍🏻

Growing up I’ve always used basically just scorpion but my gamin ha evolved more and use few characters well. Always loved sub zero right behind scorp but last 2 games I’ve really loved his style and moves. Don’t know who my fav is but he is one of them! Cool brutality’s

As a Sub Main, I recommend anyone to pick this character up to learn. His combos are easy, he has good projectiles/zoning, and he has great mixups. Sub Zero is a mid tier character in this game, but if you fully learn how to use him he can play like a top tier character if you do optimal combos and punishes.

If you are new to MK11 but have some prior experience, try out Noob Saibot first and take it from there

Idk Noobs kind of at a weird place. I always find dash cancelling into a standing 4 hard as it turns it into a Forward 4. And the majority of his best combos are not usable in his tournament variation. However if you like him, don’t let me stop u

@@AquosFrost I play kasual online but I know what you mean about the combos. That Sickle Snag isn't available in tournament is it. Dash cancelling can be a pain, have you tried changing the Release Check option in the settings? That might help. Most people say try Liu Kang if you are noob but I think that could lead to bad habits. For a noob a lot of his special moves are highly punishable. I find noob has less special moves to remember and does decent damage. As another choice Baraka is pretty decent for getting used to MK11 I originally found. Its all down to playing style I guess.

continued from last comment, if you want good mix up characters go for 1: johnny cage 2: sonya blade & 3: Jax the only problem with Jax he only has the gun for any projectiles except for when his arms heat up as hes a browler but Jax can mix it up if you can get his wrestling moves down, the top mix up is truly johnny cage he has everything

What variation do you main or use/like the most? Personally I use 3rd var. the df4 helps keep me safe when I mess up and the traps are useful for refreezes, zoning and combo extending

Am i the only one who feels every other player recovers faster than me on failing stuff or blocking? I get this feeling very often, lets say a johnny cage misses an attack, and he can block right away!! If i miss something i get punished right away

if you use sub, not main him but use him, you'll notice this guys is talking out his ass, i use sub and hes only good for his ice power to piss bad players off which is what i do, he has like 2 maybe 3 combos and tossing in one low kick or a high kick IS NOT so called mixing it up, just watch the video while hes talking midway in on mixing it up its the same shit with one low kick then goes to the same combo because thats all sub has
