I learn to tank and heal with group of buddys. Quite fun. We play not retail wow do.

i started tanking at the start of DF, let me tell you, its easy to get in but theres always and I mean ALWAYS room for improvement. also, making one mistake does not mean the end of the world (or key lol) i've caused wipes that still ended up being a +2 on a +10 key. if you want to learn tank go for it, dont let the responsibility disencourage you.

Honestly the main reason I haven’t tanked, is ignorance and anxiety.. The tank has to be the most knowledgeable in the group, and I don’t know about Dungeons! 😅🙈

Ah, but you can learn and overcome that anxiety. Just watch what the tanks in your groups do; not just what they pull, but HOW they do it. That's a simple enough first step. Also, learning more about mechanics and enemy abilities, can help you improve as a dps or healer too.

You can have fun pulling a bunch of mobs and being near-unkillable once you learn good defensive rotation 😄 Laugh as your enemies try to break through your defenses and fail, causing them extreme sadness and erectile dysfunction 🤣

Getting told your playing the easiest job in the game when it’s really not it can be the headrest at the highest levels. You will also get blamed for almost anything You will be constantly told your doing it wrong and this is how you should do it. If you don’t pull like the the .0001% they will judge you bad and leave the run And 99% of the time all this will come from people who don’t consider group comp and available stuns kicks ect. I only tank once and a while now. I had 8 years into only tanking and I don’t want the skill to fade. But I don’t tell people I can tank anymore. I just don’t want to hear it or deal with it.

People should atleast TRY tanking or healing. If you only play dps, your game iq wont be refined as much, all you do will be spam buttons and auto kick any casts on mobs. When you transition to tank/heal, you start to filter out the important one's and the others you can ignore, what mobs to funnel, prio kicks and stuffs which will make you a better DPS player too

Totally agree why tanking would be great and benefiicial but the issue is the playerbase. FF14 Tanking is fairly similar but more ppl do it because its very welcoming and more ppl are understanding.

I wish they would do something about shamans. Like enhancement shaman tanks or a 4th spec because the class doesn’t get much love.

I would totally be down for sham tanks. Enhance specialty is frost/nature Elemental specialty is nature/fire Resto specialty is water Tank specialty could be nature/water maybe?

@@candulimataoo2852 Blood DK requires a good understanding of runic power generation and maintenance, so you can death strike as you get trucked; Timing is very important.
