Hey do you know when the water's gonna turn back up?

I can’t seem to find anything online about it, other than a couple of mentions where people are talking about modded weapons. I can’t even find anything on lootlemon which even has all of the data mined bl weapons. On the couple of places I’ve seen it mentioned there are another 2 weapons that I seemingly can’t find any existence of which are the eridian fire storm and the eridian acid storm. I’d love some more information if you have any as to where you’ve seen it in the game because it seems like that they are just modded weapons unless I’m missing something.

@@elliotallison2570 well thing is. At least for Shockgun. The others don't go trough sanity check. Here is what you do. Get willowtree editor, drop yourself Eridian Storm, open your save And just replace The Barrel Storm with Barrel Shockgun and the Title with shockgun too, it should give you correct redtext. The gun works, I "revived" it years ago. It's simply 14x Storm with 0.0 accuracy and fire rate 1.0.

@@kvetoslavzeleny1764 the original bl1 never had a sanity check implemented. I believe the “remaster” had kind of one in place where you can’t mismatch parts. So a pistol with a sniper scope would get wiped but a tediore shotgun with a jakobs prefix wouldn’t. So if you put an eridian part on an eridian weapon surely it wouldn’t get wiped? Forgive me if I’m a bit uninformed about bl1 I know the game really well but I’m not too great when it comes to mods/understanding the code of the game.

@@elliotallison2570 The GOTY version has sanity check, for few weapon parts. That's why it's not possible to normaly mod in Grenade Launchers. But Eridian Shockgun doesn't get deleted, that's why I mention it. For example, If you put Explosive elemental acessory on Launchers it's deleted, because "non elemental" deals explosive too. But they forgot about Maliwan. Also There are no fire Assault shotguns, because GBX forgot to copy that part from ombat shotguns. Also if you go trough editor, There Are many unused weapon parts. Like Raven barrel. In final game Raven is based from Magazine. There is unused accessory for revolver sniper rifles that implies the S&S Orion wasn't for "Semi-auto" snipers before And So on. The thing about Eridiands, they Are unfinished Simple, there are 6 accesories and all do nothing... Unused prefixes like Mega, Chain, Bouncy. Btw, if you go check Cannon dropped by McCloud in editor it refers to Unique_MegaCannon. While it does use Basic Cannon barrel... It's a lot, but it's Fun to mess around with the editor

Thanks for clarification I had a feeling that eridians were unfinished given how basic they feel and that there’s no skills that buff them specifically like there is for every other weapon. Plus there’s only one com in the game that buffs them specifically too. Either way it’s cool to know a little bit more.
