5% Shiny Miltank in Emerald's Safari Zone after 1,328 random encounters! + Shiny Fail

Күн бұрынA fail and a reclaim. 2022 I found the first shiny Miltank which was my first 5% find in this area. She sadly fled after 5 balls but I knew I would reclaim her one day. Despite it being a tough catch, because of Hoenn's universal 15% to flee for all Pokemon, Miltank is only a 1/3 to catch which really isn't that bad. Hoenn Safari is easy mode compared to Kanto's Chansey, Kangaskhan and Tauros.
I mentioned this is in the video but this was a hunt I was somewhat dreading. Miltank can be repel tricked to 100% but it's painfully slow so to box the 5% off my living dex is a very big boost. Seriously happy with this find and it has given me a massive motivational boost to continue getting some of the Gen 3 rares in the Safari Zone over the next few years.

The ultra games are pretty gud for shinies. I was getting some even before acquiring shiny charm, thanks to the ultra warp.

I started a shiny team hunt on a fire red copy in July 23, 2022 and as of today I finally got my last team member. I also got the two sleeping snorlax’s shiny as well. And I’ll say your videos made me start the hunt.

@@hisaceinthehole3426 yeah haha I’m a bit wild with what I’m tryna accomplish. I’m trying to get all the static Pokémon shiny on this save file. I’ve gotten both snorlax’s shiny, the lapras you get in silph co shiny, the hitmolee from the karate master and eevee you’re given shiny and of course my shiny charizard. It’s almost been a year and im at this point gotta keep pushing. it’s been fun honestly

Big congratz on such a dope catch! The compilation was the first time i ever saw Gen 3 Miltanks shiny sprite and oh boi iss it pretty. Personally you are amongst the biggest motivators for when the droughts are strong in fullodds, thanks for that

Congrats on the miltank, got a cyndaquil today after weeks of resetting my soul silver copy... played for about an hour then decided I really would love to have a shiny wooper, mareep, or bellsprout.. I think ill be on route 32 for a while

noo if you want to catch the shiny in emerald safari ALWAYS trow pokeblocks it reduces fleeing rate to 5 % and doesnt decrease the catch rate. ( maybe you know this and you just like to challenge your luck by throwing only balls)
