I figured id lay out the worst shiny experience for me. So late one night was in my car just having a general look around in the crimson mirelands on pokemon legends arceus. I hear the shiny sound i look its a shiny alpha Ursaring in all its green majesty. I catch it sneaking up with the first gigaton ball. Bam! Caught it with so much excitment to name it. Perfect timing too cause i recently lost my siberian husky Taz in real life and always called him a bear. As you would think was happy named the big boy Taz....Welp before i could even think of saving i get an error code. Had to restart and look in the same spot but never showed up again 😅😔

couldn't be me LOL I'd DIE of stress if I encounter that. That thing would flee and I'd be so mad over something that shouldn't even be happening xD my strat with rare mons on safari has always been the YOLO rock. If it runs, it wasn't meant to be. If it stays, its probably getting caught LOL save me the stress of ball breaks, i rather have the thing run away than tease and torture me. I let fate decide with that rock.

I am 6 weeks in shiny hunting that shiny. I have been shiny hunting from 6 hours to 1 hours and its not caught again. This is taking my sanity away.

There is one think I want to add: If your repel runs out as you enter a spot the message will show up but a battle will not begin. Just reapply repel, leave and enter the spot again and the battle will start. Super rare but happened to me.

This just proves my point that gen 3 was a bust as a game. So many flaws in it yet, the shiny hunts in these games are so worth it besides its imperfections
