Today I have 5 NEW Shore Living DIYS using supplies from the Dollar Tree. So coastal and beachy and fun.
The first beach DIY decor I made is a larger school of fish sign. I use 7 blue and white striped wood fish from dollar tree to build a whole school of fish. This was so easy and makes a nice coastal wall decor piece.
Up next is a beautiful mermaid DIY sign. I use a coral wood tag sign and a wood mermaid from the shore living line at Dollar Tree. I decorate the wood mermaid to look like driftwood and make the mermaid tail out of seashells from dollar tree. The tail fin is rope and the mermaid hair is a grass skirt from Dollar tree. I paint the tag sign blue leaving the coral white. This was my absolute favorite DIY. Perfect for my “beach house”.
The third dollar tree DIY is a seahorse sign. I use a white shell long sign and a wood seahorse from the shore living line at dollar tree. I distress the white sign. I paint the wood seahorse blue with Sea in white. I place a metal starfish for decor and use a grass skirt for seaweed. So simple and beachy!
The next shore living DIY is a Beach Days are the best Days sign. I give it a makeover giving it a new beach look. I replace the starfish with a dollar tree sand dollar. I painted the frame to look like driftwood.
The last dollar tree beach DIY is a ship wheel wall decor piece. I paint a dollar tree wood round beachy blue. I stain and distress the dollar tree shore living ship wheel with antique wax by Waverly. I wrap the ship wheel handles with twine. I attach the ship wheel to the blue wood round and then attach dollar tree seashells in each gap between the ship wheel handles.
