i’m taking this class this year as a freshman and i found it really helpful how geographers differ from historians! thank you for this information. this is something new, especially because it’s an AP class and i’m a freshmen, so I am a little nervous but at the same time excited about this class!

Yeah I spent so much time studying as a freshman throughout the year since I never studied in middle school and I got a 5.

When Mr.Sinn says you can’t memorize these skills, holy cow, he is not kidding. I learned to look at lots of things in different ways, that Chinese restaurant over there, look at the ideograms? Do you notice how certain cities might have multiple languages on the sign? Say you live in a religious area, are there a lot of churches around? What is the architecture like. Where did that come from? That area around my doctors place, why are certain businesses there? What’s my mental map of x place? How can the Tyson chicken nuggets just be microwaved? I swear I asked myself so many new and different questions. I learned about how everything, even a global pandemic, can be put into an ESP(e)N chart! What are the economical, social, political, and environmental impacts?
