I liked the - maybe it was an animal that peed on a tree. 😂. But seriously I am a retired Sleep Study Expert and I completely support your lecture. You are spot on correct regarding the day / catabolic - night / anabolic issue. Sleep is how the body repairs itself from the damage we do to it. That repair restore process does not occur while in a wake state. It occurs during sleep stages. One thing I will recommend you should add in this video because it's relative to weight gain and that is that genetics is irrefutably a factor and not just a factor but a dominant factor. I've never been able to gain more than 10 lbs of muscle and never weighed over 155 lbs and both parents and all 4 grandparents and siblings not one of them have ever weighed more than 175 lbs regardless of their diet. Also it took me a freaking YEAR just to gain 10 lbs of muscle and all it took was getting sick ONCE and I lost the 10 lbs in a WEEK and THAT'S genetics and your genetics will override your diet and activity.

Hi there. I am 66. I used to be overweight and was plagued with several chronic health conditions for decades. My metabolic health was not the best to put it mildly. I had a fatty liver condition. I had edema, which is excess fluids causing swelling in the lower legs and feet. I had occasional high blood pressure and COPD symptoms - wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath. I was losing teeth, bone and muscle mass. I was also suffering with peripheral neuropathy and more. About two years ago i changed the way i was eating. I began intermittent fasting aggressively by eating just one big meal per day, and have been doing it ever since. Intermittent fasting is perhaps the most powerful thing you can do to lose weight and improve overall health. I stopped eating all sugars, and drastically reduced my carb intake. I stopped eating all breads, cereals, pastas, etc. I stopped eating any highly processed and all fast 'foods'. I prepare my own meal every day using only fresh organic, non GMO veggies, mostly produced by local farmers. And the meat proteins and dairy products come from local free range farmers as well. In just two months of eating this way, i lost about 60 pounds of excess fluids and body fat without additional exercise or increasing activity levels. And over the next few months, something truly magical began happening. I began reversing all those chronic health conditions described above. Even that stubborn peripheral neuropathy is gone, and the COPD symptoms. No more cough. No more wheezing, and no more shortness of breath. And i am still a modest smoker. Imagine that. And my teeth and bones are stronger now. I highly doubt i will be losing any more teeth. Now i exercise more, and am much more physically active. I am healthier and stronger now than i was ten years ago. It is kind of like aging in reverse. I use absolutely no pharmaceutical products - prescribed or over the counter for any reason whatsoever. As long as i can avoid any serious injuries, there is no need to visit any medical doctors. I really appreciate your content. New sub here.

Man, you’re so right about this. I was eating the highest quality food and exercising for years but I still felt like poo. It wasn’t until I finally started to fix my stomach acid, bile flow, sibo, and post nasal drip that I started to actually feel alive again. I was not absorbing any of those expensive nutrients! For me, the most radical and unexpected difference I have noticed so far is that all my tissues feel oxygenated which is a fantastic feeling I have not felt in so long. Thank you sir.

@@Stinkyfisher Bro, I know the pain and stress but there is hope! First thing, I know it can seem expensive but truth is comparatively you can pay a little now or pay a lot later when it hits the fan. I do understand supplements can be expensive though and if you want something on the cheap try starting with betaine hydrochloride to boost stomach acid before your meal. Maybe some time after that try D-Limonene for sibo. Then some time after that try spray nasal iodine for nasal drip. Then ox bile or bile salts a couple hours after meal to get bile moving again. But the more serious your symptoms the more you need to throw at it. And keep pooping on the regular. Drink coffee or do anything that gets your bowels moving. If you can only afford one I would say start with betaine hydrochloride and see how you feel.

Thought i had things under control, my stomachs hcl production was back to what I believe normal, I had been putting to use your valuable information to get my bile flowing properly, beet flow worked well for a couple days then oh oh! What a surprise my gallbladder had awaiting me! I noticed they were running to the door they were in such a rush good thing I was able assist but they torched the back door on exit. I believe I have a large stone that has been growing larger for 60 or more years and didn’t like the eviction notice and is putting up quite a fight. After a bit of frustration I reluctantly opened the smoldering back entry in came liquid coffee. I think I need to resort to the Xenoplex and the flush again. I did get the 10 parameter test strip but don’t know how to read it. This someone else’s iPad and can’t download anything. I guess I’m as kindly as possible asking for help at 73 years of age this whole ordeal has really knocked the, onto the test strip at least! Patiently awaiting a reply, or not….!?!?!…..I would laugh but ug I can feel it!

I @@KickItNaturally I was busy reading your online book, thank you! Without question not kidney stone, already successfully dumped a lot of gallbladder sludge and semi-hard stones every time I do I get disoriented food flow everything good wacky even my reasoning. I’ve been using the beet flow and graduated to the 4 every 30 minutes, beginning to feel like I should have continued all night until the bottle was empty, I think it is stuck! “The stone” hcl is on track but the food is not moving, despite choline, in between the only meal 750mg Tudca. I used to do triathlons, martial arts for 30+ years and now at 73 all that foolish carb loading has resulted a difficult task in getting rid of what nearly killed me! Just trying to fill in some of the details as to where I’m! I can’t think clearly and I lost the color chart from the urine test if I send the photo is there anyone that can analyze it? This is a borrowed iPad and it wont let me download or I wouldn’t be asking. If I filled you in as to the why’s of my present situation it would be a very longer and grueling endeavor at the end of which anyone that read’s it would undoubtedly be looking for antidepressants afterwards!

Recently found this channel and loving every video. Keep making more videos about Muscle building I have some questions im confused with, Im 35 years old male and i have loose stools from as long as i remember, i thought it was a normal thing, most of the times when i have lunch/dinner i directly have to go to the bathroom, and yes i thought it was normal And i go to the gym 4 times a week (recently stopped) i tried every supplement for building muscle, protein, amino acids, creatine and whatever came in muscle building magazine of that month at last got tired of it all because everyone that started with me got bigger but not me, so i tried steroid as well with little results anyhow. I noticed i have more strength than my gym buddies. (Even without roids) i pick more weights and forcefully eat a lot more than everyone i know with little to no results Long story short i was diagnosed with h pylori 16 months ago and while im skinny already i lost some weights and got a lot weaker. Saw some of your other videos about beet roots flow flush and hcl and im starting h pylori treatments from next week im little confused and wondering how do i go about it. Should i treat my h pylori first and be clean with this bacteria and then start beet flow flush and when that is done and finished, after that i should start my HCL ? I am sorry for the long comment and language, english is not my language but i tried to get the message out to get some help I would really appreciate your answer on this

Hi @nana kaka , I made similar mistakes when I was younger. A big mistake most people make is to treat h. pylori but never restore the acid function in the stomach to keep them out. your best bet could be to go through our totally free digestion course because that will walk you through figuring out which aspects of digestion are not working correctly and what steps will help you the most. That course will also help you figure out if you're leaning too catabolic and see if that might be contributing to the loose stools or the muscle loss. I honestly appreciate the quality of the content you share with us! You are a brilliant teacher 👏There’s just something I cannot understand despite reading your book and doing research. If the body is caught in a catabolic state most probably due to years of chronic stress, while I understand the knock-on effects of challenges with bile flow and becoming insulin resistant, I cannot understand that if I am eating well, am currently on carnivore diet and eating good fats, WHY AM I STILL LOSING WEIGHT ?? I am skin and bone and my body refuses to rebuild itself. Been losing muscle mass gradually over past few years. I would honestly appreciate your insights or advice on this please ? I would also appreciate hearing from others who are undergoing the same horrendous challenges. Thanks in advance

you are too catabolic. do you have a cgm? continuous glucose monitor? If not, you can get off prescription starting in July. Your blood glucose is probably going too low for too long and canabalizing your muscle to feed the body. You need carbs!!!!

I don’t have a CGM ... yes I was carnivore for three years and didn’t manage to gain any muscle back despite the protein intake. Do you think glucophage or one of those medications for insulin resistance could help me ? Look forward to hearing back 🌸

I'm an ectomorph, but after dieting and weight training, I have gained weight in 6 months. However, I still can't see any muscle. I eat enough protein and I am taking Betaine HCL & ACV to increase my low stomach acid. So I could be stuck in the catabolic state? it makes sense, however, I get up to pee 3 times, on average, every night, for 2 years. My pulse is between 70-80 regularly and I have hard stools sometimes but NEVER soft stools. So am I Catabolic or Anabolic? Thanks

1. Fix digestive issues - even after 18months carnivore diet, I seem to be having issues with HCL production [I can have 40 HCL tabs, no warm sensation]. Usually after every meal I pass gas once or twice, with the occasional cramp that starts 15min after eating and located around/below the navel - no one can explain how to fix this. Any ideas please?
@wordivore
@wordivore Ай бұрын
I have this same problem. I don't know for sure if this is going to solve my problem or not, so don't quote me. But it's my understanding that minerals are pretty important too so unless you're eating enough organ meat (especially beef liver) you're not getting many minerals on carnivore. I'm not just talking about the usual sodium, potassium and magnesium. Those are important but there's a lot more to minerals than what is referred to as electrolytes. I'm getting ready to try upping mineral intake with some multi-mineral supplements. I personally have started to add more veggies too. I know carni people don't think it's necessary for anyone, but I got to the point of eating only meat because everything else was going right through me. But eating only meat ends up constipating me. I debated on commenting since I haven't 'proven' this mineral theory to myself. But since I related to what you were saying and have been trying to figure this out for myself, I figured I'd just comment and give you some ideas or at least some things to think about. A couple other things that have occurred to me: -All the water it takes to swallow all those HCl capsules may be part of the problem too, so...Catch-22 there. And Betaine HCl isn't the only supplement I take. So as I'm eating, there's a lot of water going down the gullet into the stomach. -This one is a very unpopular point: I have figured out that coffee has likely been leaching minerals from my tissues and bones. (I also have a hiatal hernia.) So I've just quit coffee to see if that will help with mineral absorption. There's so much info about coffee being acidic and it's on the pH scale at about 4.5-5 so it's not the most alkaline but not the most acidic either. Plus if it's acidic why would it be a problem? All the acidic stuff like ACV and Vitamin C are recommended for upping stomach acid. Coffee just makes my stomach feel heavier. Plus I've learned that caffeine is a natural insecticide so I would think that it might have the capability to kill off the 'good guys' more so than things like SIBO, H.Pylori etc. Those 'bad guys' seem to live through almost everything and even become antibiotic resistant. Anyway, I can't say what your issue is obviously, but thought I'd put my ideas and thoughts out there for you since I've been trying to figure all this out too. My stomach acid is stubborn as well and although I do think the hernia plays a part in that, I also think there's more to it, like the stuff I mentioned in my long comment. It's 6 months since your comment though, so if you've figured something out yourself since then, I'd be open to hearing about it.
@mickm4577
@mickm4577 Ай бұрын
@@wordivore Hello! Thanks for your comment. I don't drink coffee and had all those HCL with only meat - not with water. I am also having 2 x 80g chicken liver per week. I haven't re-tested with that many HCL tablets - but something has improve. I started taking Phage Complete Probiotic and I noticed a couple of things straight away in the first 2 weeks -- 1. pooping from say 3 x per 2 weeks, to every other day 2. no stomach upsets if I eat loads of fat in a meal, up to say 80% fat, 20% protein. 3. no tummy troubles after OMAD - I only do OMAD once a week and for the longest time on Carni, i would get stomach cramps after the meal and half the time have to go to the bathroom with a loose bowel motion - that has stopped 100%. Another thing that i've notice in the last 2 weeks is that I was dropping weight - not much just say 0.2kg every few days..so I upped my calories 25% and my weight stablized - normally at that many calories, I would be laying on that fat - but not now. Again only 2 weeks so we'll see about that point. So...something is working and I haven't changed anything else in the diet [except for about 500mg calcium from calcium lactate - and now eggs shells]. It has only been about 6-8 weeks on these probiotics - hoping after another month or so, the bit of dusty, dry skin I have on my legs and bit of head dandruff will go away. And finally, maybe my histamine issues [not so bad] will completely go away - pne of the reasons I took this probiotic was that it was not histamine generating.
