Well, at least for Angel it is canon he has hallow bones and the ability to store no excess body fat. Hence making him lighter than the average person and allowing him to fly. He also has an ability that accommodates other problems like wind-resistant eyes. He also has a minor healing factor for crashes. So, I think he's at least got all the kinks worked out.

I always looked at ice powers as stealing kinetic energy, rather than creating low temperatures. It breaks the second law of thermodynamics, but if you accept that it isn’t absolute, then it makes most of the feast actually plausible. There isn’t a limit on movement of energy, only problem is the direction and without the 2T law you don’t freeze person by “touching” him with something very cold (which would hurt the ice user as well) but just a massive energy flow. It would even work great with Todoroki’s powers so he steals energy to freeze stuff and then releases it as heat.
@timothyjacksondrake4454

This was my thought as well. A main problem though is how you are controlling energy on a atomic level, as well as the heat would need to go somewhere.

Since most anime characters tend to have a inner vessel for energy, removing the energy shouldn't be too hard. The only limitation they would have would be the release of this energy, but that could go to unfreeze what was frozen without using heat.

I redd a comic pannel of X-men's Bob saying exactly that. It's supposed to not kill the person I think. Ironically, I think it's easier to kill a person this way since it's basically how hypothermia happens. If you freeze all at once, you can't die, you're paused. If you also unfreeze instantaneously, or in the right professional way of unfreezing someone, you'd just unpause and resume your life.

The thing is ice powers would work for a character like iceman, its said that he doesn't create ice as we know it. He changes atoms on a molecular level into ice technically making him have the ability to manipulate molecules Also I want to add that Deadpool healing factor is not only a mutant power but also magic having been cursed by Thanos as to have a stronger healing factor and the ability to not die Also adding to the wings aspect of the video. Bees shouldn't be able to fly using their wings because of their body size and mass and yet they can, we truly don't know if we could fly with proportions like this I'm also going to add that almost every character with super strength has super durability, take it luke cage who gets super strength directly from his super durability
@mr.google1437
@mr.google1437 3 жыл бұрын
The story about bees not being able to due to their body size and wings being too small is not accurate as the story which it comes from was done with back of the napkin calculations and due to the small size of bees air acts more like a fluid. A lot of insects take advantage of this with the fairyfly being an extreme case where its wings look more like a paddle.
@Thesnowyman

@@mr.google1437 According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

@@mr.google1437 Yeah, we all say that, if ants were super-sized (or the size as humans) they'd be able to lift like a car or some, and we got that by calculating the fact that they can lift more times their weight while they're normal sized, so if they were human sized with more mass and stuff they'd be able to lift things that normal humans wouldn't be capable of. So it isn't that farfetched that of we had wings like beez we'd still be able to fly?🤔

What if you had a healing factor but your body can only heal when (like Alex Mercer) you use your entire body like a mouth or quicksand to completely swallow people? 5:35 I have a theory about wolverine’s hair is similar to what you said about vampires. Logan basically stopped aging in his mid 30s right? Maybe the very second he stopped aging (or slower aging, whatever you prefer) he had that haircut and his body reconstructs itself based on when he originally stopped aging?
@CaptainFrost32
@CaptainFrost32 3 жыл бұрын
The hair grows fast on Logan, up to the point that the strands of hair break off. Pity the housekeeper when Logan, Beast, and Sasquatch have a poker tournament... There was a comic of Wolverine going with Iceman undercover to Cuba. Before he went into public, Logan used his claw to shave his head bald to baffle anyone using headshots from his dossier to identify him. Bobby asked him to put his fingertips to his temples and say "To me, my X-Men". By the time they drove to another contact that evening, his hairstyle and facial hair had regrown.

yeah that one made no sense. For one no one is going to die just because they didn't have oxygen for like 30 seconds. And people can control their own strength meaning if they didn't want to jump that high they just wouldn't. And super strength literally strengthens the body making you more durable
@stefanbecker6085
@stefanbecker6085 3 жыл бұрын
@@B_bang22 Actually super stength does not, by default, equite enhanced durability. It has the same problem as super speed, it reqires a secondary power (durability) to be surviable to use. Just because you can punch through a wall, does not automatically mean your hand will "survive" the experience.

Also for Super Strength: the superhero would almost always need to be fully grounded to get anything done. Having muscles that act X times stronger than normal wouldn't matter much if you they have next to 0 leverage on the object or person that they're moving/hitting. The hulk in mid-air is theoretically weak as hell, although a character such as superman could generate such leverage with enough force in their flight, assuming they can fly that precisely and that it is either a propulsion or operates within ultra-fixed points in space.

Talking on the fact that Deku can't handle the amount of strenght his body is using too: Yes! That's just Newton's 3rd law: "For every reaction, there's an equal opposite reaction!" If you want to lift 50kg but you never even exercised, your body WILL PROBABLY collapse right there! Not just that but let's grab My Hero again... Deku & Bakugo fought against All Might once around ends of Season 2! At a moment, Deku got one of Bakugo's "Grenade Gauntlets" fully charged & ready! Even tho his body was strong enough to easily punch through rock at only 5% Full Cowling, but when he exploded with Bakugo's Gauntlet he almost fell in the ground and impressed he even said something like:"Bakugo can really take these explosions so efortlessly?" And yes! Bakugo has used his Quirk since a 5yo and it was just another day with the same Quirk, but Deku never exploded before, so when he did, he even flinched a bit! And taking physics into a matter is an awesome subject, love your vids!

Ironically enough I think a good example of realistic regeneration are vampires from the vampire diaries, they only heal from small wounds, broken bones, can’t regenerate limbs and die from either decapitation or removal of heart and need a healthy diet of blood otherwise they’ll desiccate presumably because there regeneration is what’s keeping them alive

The ferrous metals may be the easiest to manipulate with magnetism, but if the electromagnetic forces involved are cranked up high enough, pretty much everything will be affected. There's a famous video clip of a strawberry and live frog floating in a magnetic field, which was possible precisely because of how insanely strong the current flowing through the fields was.

I know I’m 5 years late, but here it goes. Something that always confused me was not how Wolverine could regenerate form one cell, it was how these people with healing powers retained their memory’s after their brains had been blown to smithereens. I get the structure of the brian could be rebuilt exactly as it was, but we humans get Amnesia from just too hard of a knock, how the hell dose deadppol or Wolverine not only have all their memories, but also can continuoue on EXACTLY were they left off, as though those memory waves were just on pause.

Plot Hole in what you said about Hulk, it’s been stated that banner can’t die as long as he’s bound to Hulk. Hulk instinctively comes out to protect Banner which is why many of his suicide attempts have failed and why he lives longer after all the Avengers are dead. There is no way to kill Banner as long as he is bonded to Hulk.

This is your channel's 1st ever that I watched. Although I'm a huge superhero/superheroines fanboi I do agree with all your pointers in the video. I also have a suggestion about "Fire Powers" It would be very difficult to breathe with it. I mean, If your whole body is in a burning state, like Human Torch(from Fantastic 4), it would be next to impossible to breathe as all the O2 around your body will be used up in burning. They might die out of suffocation.

My top 5 worst: 5: Super Sonic Scream (Because you will never be able to ever speak without ending in catastrophic results, just like Black Bolt) 4: Telepathy (Because the human mind can not possibly comprehend so much information and power, causing terrible migraines) 3: Time Travel (One minor little mistake while time traveling could result in the end of the world, just watch Back to the Future or The Flash) 2: Immortality (While not dying is extremely powerful and useful, outliving your loved ones would be terrible, imagine living without family or friends, it could cause depression or cause you to go crazy) 1: Senses (It's just useless, what could you do in a fight with this power, see someone to death... exactly)

You know whats acc annoying. I creadted this character that was half fire and half ice. I called him him Fire-Icer. I asked this kid, who can draw, at my school if she could redraw it in her art style, and she did but while she was drawing she laughed and said this could easily be a character from my hero acadamia. It just ticks me off.

I knew most of the facts in this video already. And the cool thing is, you singled out the two powers that I thought I would choose to have, if given the chance. Healing and Magnetic powers. Because those two would be the ones most useful in our reality. The additional info about the different metals was very nice, as some of it I didn't know. I knew some of the metals were non magnetic, but not that so many aren't magnetic. So having a healing factor and carrying a lot of food with me + magnetic powers and some decent amount of iron, so I am not too heavily packed. That would be my strategy.
