I always find the concept of a normally stereotypically unthinking creature suddenly showing high intellect to be hilarious and awesome. In particular, the Walking Dead one, (even if it's a joke) is particularly funny.

Fun fact: The virus that creates the zombies actually doesn't kill the host. It was made to keep the subject alive as a walking corps activity- keeping the brain intact. I believe that's why Brad was able to utter "sorry" due to brain still being okay. The other zombie games, I have no idea.

The dying light mother scenario was built very well. The boss battle, the monk apex zombie. The storyline flows with an exotic yet badass rythem. It also helps to devolp Kyle into the tentacle Hentai zombie we all know and love

It’d be interesting if we had zombies who started crying or showing distressed body language in media. Like they’re trying to fight their urges to devour in infected people because there is still a human being at the core but driven mad by their nature. Especially the zombie at the beginning who said sorry or one that even as it attacked started profusely crying and apologizing, maybe it’d be heart wrenching to watch a zombie attack their uninfected significant other and through the brawl the zombie kept saying “I Love you, forgive me please”.

You know everytime I hear the mother, I automatically expect her to say "A new hand touches the beacon."

I’ve played (and finished) RE1 days ago and one moment which quite shocked me is when a zombie opened a door. I didn’t think it was possible to a zombie to open a door without just hitting hit. I know it’s not very interesting but I wanted to say it. :)

One good example of 'Talking Zombies' is in the Marvel Zombies comic book series. Where the Super Zombies retained their sentience and same personalities that they did in life (only corrupted by "The Hunger.")

Also in dying light the following there is a side mission where you have to get some plants I think from some guys cabin and there’s a big drop in the house and down there ,there is a volatile begging for mercy and telling us it burns it’s actually really creepy

In the Dying Light it's not totally talking, the only way to talk with her is through the smoke or to become of the children of the sun to talk with the mother, and you can hear it through your head or mind.
