True, I have a 2014 (which they rebadged as the Q60S) and I do not have these issues. Only thing. I do have that chrome thing on the back. I mean, what is wrong with it? It adds an accent to the rear deck. I don't see why everyone seems to dis that thing. I have the same seat belts and have no issue. My car is a six speed manual. I do notice that with the traction control on, the car is a little less responsive. Turn it off and it will do donuts and drift if you want. My car is totally stock and drives great. I especially like all the driver's seat adjustments. The Bose sound system sounds great and the car is great with the sun roof open and the windows down on nice days. I originally wanted a V6 Accord coupe, but fell in love with this Q60S and bought it. It drives almost like my 2004 350Z. Of course, it is basically a 370Z with 10 extra inches and a rear seat. I think these cars are great. Have yet to find any other that I would prefer.

@@archangele1 it's just personal taste, chrome has been popular for so long it's starting to fall out of fashion. Especially since Need for speed movies came along with large spoilers (that actually hardly do anything in normal driving conditions like a G37 would be subjected to). The popular market have been gravitating towards color coordinated themes over metallic ever since. As a designer the smaller chrome accent matches the leading line Much better than the larger spoilers do on darker paints. the white paint job is the only 1 in my eyes that would need it for looks. But the white paint shows the separation of different pieces of the body more so it sort of looks ugly to begin with, especially when dirtied.

I have a 2009 G37, bought it new. My trans shifts instantly in manual mode. You can reset the trans memory. I babied the car when new and the trans was sluggish. I reset it and it is quick to shift gears.

It would stand that they care about real world problems unlike toyota and honda that make a product snd say, buy it because we are the biggest. Nissan makes smarter products and they actually drive the cars they make. The head of toyota is driven in a mercedes and the head of honda is driven also. Nissan engineers love the cars they make. They support the huge community of enthusiasts and motorsports because its their legacy.

Can confirm! 2010s and up fixed a lot of the complaints you (and many, many others) have had.

Every transmission is different for sure, but the pre-2010 models have been known to have a slight lag when up shifting. Just due to the times since paddle shifters were just becoming more efficient around those years, while prior years they were considered more of a novelty to imitate formula 1 cars who have been using them since the late 90's. They've now become so efficient they are soundly beating standard manual setups and making them obsolete.

The 08 is pretty dope tbh, just doesn't have the cooled seats. Also uses switches instead of dials for the seats so less temp control I guess? Mines a S coupe so it still has the Mag paddle shifters, also the audio problem isn't really a thing. Sucks he didn't do a google search, the poor dude probably spent alot on that 'straight from Infiniti' adapter

The G37S or "Sport" and IPL's come stock with the matching decklids. The rims and front bumper are slightly different as well.
