Most of these are complaints due to your lack of knowledge of the features of the car (except the hot seats) 1:15 - The visor is like that because it's extendable - pull it towards the rear view mirror for extra coverage. 2:46 - yes it is just you...... 0.1miles is 0.1miles it's super accurate - this is a great layout tells you in order top to bottom what your turns are. 3:45 - There are 2 USBC ports in the center console and more in the rear console - those are not your only charge options. 7:15 - you can configure the left scroll wheel to be the button for the glovebox.

I believe there’s 2 USB C ports in the front compartment of the center console, you don’t have to plug into the rear seat ports for charging your phone

If you tap the button up in the top right of the screen it will zoom in the maps and keep it zoomed in. at 2:40

My biggest pet peeves is when a car doesn't have an Apple Carplay. It's so annoying and I can really understand you on that

With how cheap Tesla superchargering currently is around, I would use credits for acceleration boost or something you’ll use everyday. Those supercharger miles expire after 6months

For the car charger you can get the outlet for the big plug install and use the bigger plug and it takes like 8hrs to charge completely

For the glovebox - if you hold down the left scroll wheel you can remap to open the glovebox, still kinda weird but if you want something closer to a physical button that might help.

Tesla is working with Apple and is considering Apple car play in 2024. The main reason there is no Apple car play is because of the software in Tesla is so refined with live traffic data and the built in gps. Not sure how to easily integrate Apple car play with their software.

FSD has been fun but a bit of an adjustment getting used to. also, cooled seats… tell me about it, I’m missing mine from my past car as well however this is something Tesla did include to the new redesigned model 3 and new model y coming out. looks like we just missed it lol

just a tip, no need for the big wall charger. you can use the 240V adapter that comes with the mobile charger (since you already have it) and plug it into the drying machine outlet. it will give you the same output as the wall charger

Buddy, you should read the owner's manual a little bit. Many have already pointed out a couple of items, but I open my glovebox by pushing the right scroll wheel and saying, "open the glovebox". It's much easier than reaching over to the passenger seat area and pushing a mechanical button to unlatch a 'normal' glovebox.

Another thing I think may be helpful for your next/full review is to know what the increase of your home energy costs are for a month no that you've been charging the car at home with the wall-plug for over a month

I’m sure someone has already told you this, but to minimise charging time at a supercharger, make sure you put that as the destination or at least a waypoint. The car will then pre-heat the battery because it knows you’re gonna be charging so it’s warm when you arrive and you get high speeds much quicker. Also it’ll tell you how busy they are and redirect you if there’s nothing free and you can’t wait 👍🏻

For the glovebox you can hold down the button on the right side of the steering wheel and say "Open glove box". Also you can say "Open the butt hole" and the charging port will open xD

You can customize the left button on your steering wheel to open the glove box my guy Harrison. All the things you mentioned were pretty minimal. Just got a 2024 Long range model Y and I love it.

For the glovebox, you can use the voice command function to "open glovebox"

USB Cs plugs are in the center console.

My only 2 main issues is….. In NYC the charging stations are 99% packed all the time… And with the car it’s self…. The visibility to the back is very poor…. You barely see out the back window…. Ohhh almost forgot the side mirrors are way too small for that big of an suv…. Other than that fun car …. And I also hate that it doesn’t have carplay

The criticisms in this almost come off as a parody. Between the “no charging” ports except in the back (even though there are literally two in the center console…) and your comments on the visor…. Also, the rear truck cover comes out because you can flip it. If you need/want more space in the trunk well, flipping the cover gives you more storage space. Finally, you didn’t even think there was a glove box…. Sigh…. I suppose a “what I hated about my Tesla” can be aimed for more views but it came off pretty lame.
