What a useless video. Problem 1) It's a minivan. Problem 2) Reliability, JD power rated it high, but it has all the same power and tech features as every other minivan and so it could break. Problem 3) It has a higher horsepower than other minivans, but it's still not enough for me. Problem 4) Doesn't "feel" like quality. Problem 5) I got the top end vehicle and it's expensive.

We don’t have any kids. We do have 2 recumbent trikes that fit nicely without being folded ( all seats down ). This was the only van that had AWD and had stowing seats. Love it. We have the Limited S package.

Definitely a hit piece, notice how he has his foreign car pulled out into the street to make this video. I’ve had 5 caravans over the years, I keep buying more as I’ve been so happy with them. I don’t have kids but it’s a people hauler while I pull my pontoon boat to the lake. It’s a people hauler that takes us to concerts and sporting events, and it does it in the most comfortable way, much smoother than any SUV or any bumpy truck. I’ve never had a sliding door failure, my current one has 208,000 miles, original alternator, starter, water pump, everything works on this van. It has never failed to start and has never broke down on me. This is why it the number 1 selling minivan, repeat buyers, everyone except the hit pieces know that they are excellent vehicles. I’ll soon be upgrading to this Pacifica. Don’t listen to this guy and his little bumpy foreign car.

We love our 2018, and it's loaded Limited. Thanks for posting, but honestly with all the horrors of 2017-2020 I believe you could have referenced stuff like that. In this case you mention not what was even broken, but what may happen, based on past vehicles? Hope you dont take this feedback the wrong way. I'll have to search for other videos that talk about the tech issues I'm looking to address currently with Airbag light on.

I have a Pinnicle Hybrid, its fantasitc, I only have one kid, i don't care that it is a minivan and not an SUV I rather fill my gas tank once every 2 months. I am a tall dude this is the most comfortable car I have been in, We were an SUV family and are glad we switched to a minivan.

As an older driver, the minivan is by far the easiest vehicle to get in and out. It is just straight in and straight out, no up and down or down and up. When we travel my wife is not a minimalist so the space is terrific. I repair things around the house and a minivan can haul 4x8 sheets of material easily. The vision is great setting a little higher than cars with lots of glass to see what is around you. The power is fine, I'm not at the drag strip, or the Indy 500 so the performance for me is just fine. I usually drive my vehicles around 300,000 miles and have driven them for at least 30 years making my transportation costs pretty low. That is good enough for me. Thanks for the review.

I have no kids, but being able to just slide right in without ducking your head and raising your feet is why I drive a minivan specifically the Pacifica. You don't need kids to justify.

We only have 2 kids, you can't beat the room going on a 2 week Vacation. They are very versatile as well and haul things like beds and furniture that you would typically need a truck for, they are not just for large families anymore. Most vehicles have a bunch of technology on them so going to have problems with whatever you buy anymore. Also not something that could be called under powered, they move along very quickly and get up and go when you need them too. Very interested in what the power is being compared too.

I’ve always loved the look and practicality of a minivan, I’ve had 3 grand caravans and was offered an awesome price for a trade in on my current 2017 grand caravan GT so we are looking at a Pacifica. I’ve got no liens on my van so it will help with the payments. I’ve wanted the new Pacifica ever since it got its facelift in 2021, love the look and style.

It isn't just for people with kids, we don't have any kids. Tons of people are using them for camping, sleeps two and our dog very comfortably.

My Dad just bought a loaded 2022 just like this one except in all metallic black, same top of the line trim level. Paid $30,000 with super low milage was a lease turn in. We absolutely love it. And Chysler btw invented the minivan so if anyone does that right it's them. See so so many of these all over so they are reliable obviously!!! Not best on gas I'll admit that but far as it being an awesome ride heck yeah it is 👍

What other options for a 7 pass are there at that price point? A telluride is smaller and costs at least $50k. Same thing with the palisade. Don’t get me started on tahoes and Yukons.

I have a 2019 with Tour plus L no sunroof (didn't want one) or Hybrid. Ordered it in Ocean Blue with beige interior and u-connect with cd and screens in the back. I bought the van for my wife to get in on the 2nd row which she likes as I looked at suv's and were higher and hard for her to get in. But anyway I never thought I would love it as much as I have. No kids and I love the space when ever I need it and the ride has been very good and very smooth. Power I think is pretty good at 287hp and does take off when you get on it. I have had only a few problems with it but not mechanical but with a cracked windshield that happened just sitting outside and was covered and the screen that went completely black when they tried to do a update on it when they put the usb to do it and shorted the screen. They covered it but had to wait a long time about 5 month to get a new one. This was at the time of covid. But I didn't get anywhere the $57K as with all the 2nd to top of line came in at a little over $41K with Low-Jack and Up grade to Harmon sound system. So I think I got a decent deal! But love the van and the quality! Being made in Windsor , Canada they watch out for care and quality work!

I have a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Red S and like the fact I only have to fill up every 6 months or more and mitigate maintenance and repairs with the gas engine barely ever running. No one ever talks about that. Or that the brakes will last the life of vehicle using L mode for regen.

if you have 2 kids a minivivan can be useful. id like to be able to transport people like friends and extended family which isnt possible in a 5 passenger vehicle with 2 car seats installed

Mini van are cheaper then a full sized suv van are great for travelers we travel a lot and it’s great for moving large music equipment

I absolutely love this van. It is nearly perfect ..

What you might not realize is that people are creating their own side gigs/business more now than ever. That means we might be in type of business that requires lots of cargo space while at same time can still function as family vehicle during not work times. I do agree the price tag of these is absurd.

You can get a used one with about 60k miles for 20 to 28k depending on the trim. Get a used LXi Voyager from a rental company if you want to save some money. You get something with the Pacifica suspension but without the price. Plus who needs a luxury interior? Kids wipe their boogers, puke, and throw food and drink all over it.

At much lower altitudes it has plenty of punch. Cruises and handles great.

Wait until you get the classic Dodge-Chrysler lifters sound, you will love your $57k inv-waste-ment

No kids or grandkids, but I have one great, big, dog, and I travel a lot. Big dogs take up a lot of room, and a minivan fills the bill for transporting the big dog and lots of stuff better than any other type of vehicle.

If you think 57000 dollars for this car is expensive in the US, think again. I live in Norway. Usually people who buy this car only buy them with 2 front seats. As a transport car. If you want back seats it will cost you about 50000 dollars. So, with back seats this car is 150 000 dollars in Norway.

Roads Vision and comfortable on minivans is the best

My experience with the pentastar v6 is that they suck, my sister had a 200 with one and it blew at 80k miles, however my 2013 town & country is still running strong but it’s starting to rod knock at 130k miles

You don't need to have kids to have a mini van. Any one can drive a mini van I wouldn't mind having one and I am a single person. I would just buy one for hauling things around. You would be surprised how much you can haul in a minivan.

Shoulda bought the Odyssey. VTEC and Honda 10 speed has plenty of power. Chrysler went with the ZF 9 speed which is garbage. Honda dropped it due to problems.

Minivan “stigma”? I couldn’t care less about it. SUVs are less practical and more expensive because they are supposedly cooler. Have no kids. Have a minivan and an SUV. The SUV is our equivalent to a two door runabout, while the minivan is the do anything vehicle. Every one of your points is a stretch.

The Pacifica is not a regular minivan. It's a got 5 star safety rating and has some of the best ratings as far quality. And for many this looks better than sienna and Odyssey.

You must be out of your mind. This is the worst van I’ve ever ever rented or even driven. It’s like a ping-pong with the driver assist the radio is a piece of junk. It will glitch out doesn’t work right shows on the dash that this has heated seats and AC yeah but you only get heated seats. No AC seats call it vented. This is by far the worst vehicle I have ever rented or driven. I wouldn’t wish this upon anyone the radio or the U connect glitches like crazy. I could turn it off and it will still have sound coming through it.
