If you let your Sims play chess together, it raises their friendship really fast and they build the logic skill at the same time. Also if the sims friendship is really low they will be nice to each other even if they fight on their own

I've just noticed that a lot of reward traits, lot traits, cas traits, and aspirational traits focus mainly on making the game easier as opposed to making it more fun

With feeding toddlers I always place a child's chair, ottoman or stool (cottage living mushrooms are my fav) near the dining table. That way the toddler doesn't walk miles to find a lounge chair to sit on to eat and they're near the family. They can grab stuff off the counter usually or the dining table - it doesn't need to be the floor. I did not know about the thankyou cards!

Not sure if it is in the other video, but if you have excellent Bonsai plants, the convert to decorative costs 25 simoleons, but it gives a huge boost to the gardening skill. Even better is that they don't take much longer than a day to grow to the point you can convert them, so you can gain gardening levels at a ridiculous rate, just leaving one bonsai plant growing that can be harvested the next day

My favorite way to feed a toddler is using the refrigerated display case so I can cook a meal with 8 servings and just move it into there so it doesn’t spoil and the child can grab it out of there

about feeding a toddler - you don't have to grab a serving for them, just click on it while you control the toddler, and he will take it himself, even if it's on the counter :)

Another thing about aspirations is you still keep the progress of the aspirations, if you want to work on another one. Just make sure with certain ones you switch back to them when it’s something that requires your sims to do a certain task or activity several times or it won’t count.

The toddler will reach up to the counter and get a plate, you don't have to place it on the floor

In one save I sent a bunch of thank you cards to my sim's toddlers who weren't members of his household and instantly amazing relationship. Boy you can't even read.

I can speak from experience, for some reason cloud gazing or star gazing does super bond you to another person. I don’t know what it is. Perhaps it’s the feeling of smallness and comfort you get, looking out at the vast sky? My children are always asking me to do this, and it just boosts us every time. ☺️

Actually, I find the easiest way is to introduce yourself to someone then add them on social bunny. Without even closing the phone you can raise relationships with sims to max in a matter of seconds. This is how I do my 100 baby challenge 🤣😊

Thé thing with Social Bunny is that you don't even need to do anything - once you added someone to your contact list, they will send you messages and post about you, so you'll be getting new friends without even knowing who they are 😂 I just open SB every other couple of days, send reactions to posts and I'm the most popular sim in the save 😅

if you go to the gallery and look for rooms with paintings included, the amount you pay for the room will be less expensive than the amount of simoleons you earn when selling these paintings on it. Is a easy way to earn money without cheats :)

Take photo with... and Take photo of... both increase your friendship level. The «Send thank you card» is a new one for me. Thank you very much. For the bonus traits from aspiration, you can have more than one. In fact, you can have them all. Once you have the first one, you have it for good. Next, go back in CaS and select any aspiration from another category, and exit CaS. That new bonus skill is now yours for good. Rinse and repeat. You can make your own fruit cake. You only need level 5 your cooking skill and level 1 in gourmet cooking. Also, completing the Master Chief aspiration enable you to cook meals that never go bad. Yes, those salads and sushi rolls that you made 100 days ago are still fresh😋🤣

Sul-sul! Feeding toddlers: You don't have to put a serving on the floor. As long as it's not in the fridge, you can have them grab a serving (from counters, tables out of their inventory). They will go eat near the closest person sitting down. Even if it means on the floor. If you want them to eat at the table with the rest of the family, leave a chair pulled slightly away from the table, and if no one else sits there, they'll choose that seat. When toddlers get full, they'll put their left over food in their inventory. They'll even eat in bed if they're hungry upon waking up, or if they're hanging out in their room. No matter how much you'd like to, putting a high chair at a table in the restaurant still won't let them dine with you. If you can even get them access to the lot, you'll have to feed them... but then they'll get cranky from having to sit in the high chair for the duration of your dining experience. (It only worked for me once and I sent them home with my teen when they started disturbing the peace). Dag dag

Just put the food in your toddler's inventory. They can just take it out and eat it from there. They'll still do the conga to the living room to sit down and eat though. Or to the closest bed. Their air is so bad.

Don't wake the llama is another great way to raise friendship, best part is with 4 players, your sim can make friends with all of them really fast

Satch wants us to feed the toddlers the same way I feed my cat - just put a bowl of food on the floor and let them do their thing 😂😂

I just wanted to chime in that I don't even think you need to take the extra step to put a serving on the floor for the toddlers. I noticed mine were able to grab their own serving right off the counter when I accidentally left something out.

Watching the Cooking channel raises cooking skill, so I always make them watch it while eating, especially when they are low level. The Comedy channel raises the comedy skill and Dream Home Decorator Network raises the handiness skill

You can actually get the toddler to sit in a regular dinning room chair to eat as well. 8:42 Instead of having the toddler travel back through the house to find a spot to eat that meal he just picked up, have one of dining room chairs pulled out a little bit and not actually "connected" to the table. Doing that the toddlers will actually sit with the rest of family as they eat and even babble/talk with them as all eat together, instead of having the food on table the toddlers just put the plates on their laps. Would be nice and make sense now if EA would design chairs with booster seats that toddlers can get into and out of on their own to eat what everyone else eats that actually gets connected to the table like any other chair, doing that can still leave the highchairs mainly for infant usage.

At least in my game, and I think I could do this before adding any mods, you can mentor sims at level 10 of a skill _without_ the Mentor Reward Trait. I think the trait just adds skill gain for mentoring?

I keep a stack of strawberries in my toddler Sims inventories... Inspired by the fact that raising real toddlers requires alot of on hand snacks! 😅

yup when i first started playing sims 4 i had a toddler chair and it was so annoying so what i did was buy a coffee table and just put the serving on it cuz toddlers can't reach up high so ever since then when i have a toddler coffee table is the way i go now.

Toddlers can grab a plate from a table or counter as well. I suggest putting a seat near the plate and cross your fingers that they use the closest chair 😏
