All my cafes and bars are just NPCs standing around trying to order things. But they don't actually sit down to drink/eat anything. Is there anything I can do to make the venues work better?

I mean, I can’t call the Sims 4 Pay to Win, because I don’t generally feel like a winner when I buy a new pack and it breaks the game. But pay to have any enjoyable experience, sure.

I did a similar challenge. My Sim had to enter the house through the bedroom and walk the entire the house and cross multiple bathrooms to get to the second floor stairs, where the kitchen was. One of my favourite builds to date

Life by You’s graphics, UI, advertising, and communications and even polish are kind of abysmal but the ambition, attitude and forethought behind decisions are excellent. Like the love they’ve put into the modding capabilities is impressive. I just wish it didn’t feel so amateurish in its presentation. whoever is in charge of the art is either very green or spread very very thin

Lets be honest, the sims 4 is a dress up/building game and should be marketed as such. If you haven't played the older games and you are looking for a stress free simulation, that's what the sims 4 is minus all the glitches ofc. If you are gameplay person, mods are an absolute must or go back to older games. I do the latter

Complaints on social media seems to be the ONLY way nowadays to get an answer when anything goes wrong. Whatever company or product is involved.

A few days ago when I started the game I was polled -twice in a row- if I was happy with the game in general and with the start sequence. I was really surprised about that and wrote a few negative things into one of the boxes. (That was actually there for that exact purpose!)

I haven't experienced crashes but after a while of playing I'll have some lag and the Sims will also stop responding and just stand in place. The "Reset Object" option tends to fix that though.

the game just doesn't run properly either. everything is so broken. like i want to feed the baby. i just want to feed the baby. but it takes my sim 10hrs to fucking move.

I call it being a writer. Torturing and killing characters is a thrilling rush that's unexplainable unless you've experienced it yourself.

My first thought was that sales must be down. Dine out has so much more issues than wanting to add waffles or menu items-- personally I would for dine out love to tell my waiter/chef to get back to work when my sim has been waiting for food for 6 hrs because the staff decided to stop working. Or to be able to tell my customers to sit the F down when I'm running a restaurant so they won't keep getting angry that their food isn't being delivered to the table.

Finally after inzoi is getting more famous & closer to release date, the sims developer is "listening" huh? Yeah right, about time. They have been on the monopoly pedestal for long enough now without any competition, has been too cocky & apathethic to be honest. Now it's time to go down from that pedestal and repair all the sh*tty bugs we've been desperate to be sorted out. Hope they bring back the love they had when making the sims 2.

Don't get your hopes up too high everyone. Soon as they start making money just by listening to us, and/or there's no competition, they're back to their old selves again.

My game was very broken after the Crystal Creations update (not pack) and I did get help from Answers HQ. They didn’t solve the issues directly, but by finding a single sim that was broken, I was able to troubleshoot that household and find a solution for myself to save my favourite save files. It took literally weeks to fix it all though, and I have lost a lot of enthusiasm for the game in the meantime, just building and not playing. I also can’t follow anyone on the gallery anymore. I hope the update (tomorrow?) resolves that issue.

I’ve just recently started playing again after a few years and man everything is just stripped away. I remember when you used to be able to parent your toddlers and teach them things that came directly with the game but now it’s a pack so now all you get with the free game is just the worst parts of parenting. And it’s bugged out so bad my sim won’t do anything I tell them to

Really the form in Answer HQ is shorter than i would think to explain your problem but the reason why it is so long is to get players to think about what is happening and the questions are about the parts the developer will need to know to find the issue in code. Yes i know the form is kind of long compared to what most people are used to but in short players are very bad at telling what is wrong in an objective way so it can be fixed. For fixes it really depends on what is wrong. Smaller things are also easier to fix so they most likely get fixed first with the harder things to fix take longer.

Also they need more cas colors (for appearance not clothes) I think eye colors and hair colors and more new stuff

I notice this but not every sim just lays there, some do sleep...the ones that just lay there I tell them to sleep and they finally do. It's annoying but we all know how borked Sims 4 is...don't we?

i update my game enough, i’m out of storage atp. i paid so much for TS4 just to have a broken game that im expected to fix and update constantly. now i have to be the one to report the bugs? yea no they needa cut me a check for all this free work im doing 😅
