Best sedan for 100k in my opinion. Over all comfort, tech, looks, and it has plenty get up and go.

Would be nice if you show us how the tecnologies work, ie the split screen, the side bolstering thing etc

the 2011 jaguar XJ had the eyesight splitscreen. so its not new and unique in anyway.

The BMW M5 had seats who support you throughout a corner like 10 years ago

Hey Parker, great video as always. Would you like to make a footage show us the features as you talk about it? For example, when you talk about the split screen, you can show the footage of how the screen would look like when you move the camera from the driver side to the passenger side? Or do a U-turn to show us the turning radius of the car. I think that would make your video better because it is hard to imagine sometime. Cheers!

The split view is a feature Range Rover is doing for more than 5 years.

I knew all these 5 things and I'm pretty sure anybody who is into Mercedes knew about all these things.

I had #3 already in my '08 BMW M5... no innovation there. The only thing I love about this car is the overall comfort, the 2 huge screens and the split screen tech.

The screen thing has me rethinking my life.

Show some of the features you talk about more. Like the super cool duel-view display, or the turning radius. Would have been interesting to see.

What does he mean when he says the S 550 is not a drivers car? If he's trying to say it's for sitting in the back while the chauffeur drives, this guy doesn't really know what he's talking about. Sure it can and is used for that, but a chauffeured Benz is the Maybach. Even the other S class sedans S600, S63, S65 are meant to be driven, but fit the chauffeur category more than the S 550. Do you guys agree?

If you want demonstrate split screen you should pan the camera from left to right across the screen at different angles, so the people can view the two different "sides".

The fan for the cooled seats starts in reverse to cool the seat down quicker, and then goes back to blowing

According to the Mercedes website the S550 is 206.5 inches long not 198 inches. The S-Class Coupe is 198 inches long. I spend way to much time on mbusa lol.

How can a passenger watch a movie??

I drove a 40.000 € Skoda Superb that had the same features explained at number 5. The ACC and lane assistance isn't that special anymore in a modern middle to high-class car.
