Well in my opinion perma bans are too harsh They are trashing their servers with banned accounts When they can just disable chat for toxic people and it would benefit both sides

@@Charlett Eh. Even if they did that they'll find other ways to be toxic like afking or running it down. If their stupid behinds got perma banned then I'm certain they got the previous forms of punishment to warn them (like chat restriction and being banned for some days) first unless they did somethin really out of line.

@@furnoprime9439 Well In case of running it down/afk I had an idea then yes u ban them, but 1st for week then 2 weeks then month then 2 months and so on multiplying thier ban time by 2 It's still better punishment then perma ban And the worst time that u need a long time to wear off "ur ban avability" I got perma after 1,5 month of getting last ban, both time of ban and how quickly u receive it is ridiculous

@@Charlett While normally players get chat restrictions as their first punishments (10-games for strike 1 & 25-games for strike 2), gameplay related misbehavior when confirmed to be intentional is given a minimum 2-week ban (strike 3) as the first punishment as opposed to chat restrictions since those obviously wouldn't stop someone from misbehaving via gameplay. Continuous misbehavior after that results in a permaban (strike 4). That said it is possible to get your account in good standing again before being permabanned by showing a genuine consistent effort to shape up (easier said than done I know but still though). For some a permaban might seem too harsh, & indeed many have suggested an extra step in-between strikes 3 & 4 such as a 1 month ban, but overall at some point you have to put your foot down when it's clear someone won't stop misbehaving no matter how many chances they're given. If they try to get around it by playing on alts more often than not they don't last long as Riot has ways of tracking peoples alts & can instaban them if need be, such as with an ID ban (permaban on sight) in the worst case scenario (which even then there's still a chance for redemption if after a year they ask Riot for & can prove to them they deserve another chance (permabanned accounts stay banned though)).

if you're smart about how you're being toxic you won't get caught by the system but if you do something stupid like give someone a death threat or call someone a slur you will get banned instantly regardless of your account standing prior

Yep, and I think it's even off by default but I might be wrong. You can access them in game and choose to take them or go with your own. Also, I believe they do take one of your pages and modify it, so beware of that.

It’s not even the first or only, he was fined, suspended for at least 4, 5 times before the global ban due to his loose mouth. The worst part was that he making that joke at the peak period of pandemic. As Vietnam was known as one of the safest country from Covid, but the country finally got overthrown by the pandemic and hundreds people died each days. He just pick the worst time to joke, he deserves that.
