aHHHHH I finally successfully flat ironed my hair!! I know Im not the only one still was struggling on how to silk press thick natural hair so I made it my mission to share the tips I learned while flat ironing my hair :) I truly hope this was helpful for my babes who are still working on perfecting this hairstyle.. Flat ironing natural hair is an art. If I knew these tips five years ago, I would have never gone back to a relaxer. Back then I thought heat was a bad thing for my natural hair, but the key is moderation. Now I’m one year post relaxer and I love the flexibility of wearing my hair curly AND straight. All of the products I used in that video help my curls to last a couple days, but I’ll recurl pieces or wear rollers at night to preserve the style!
