I do not have a strong research history. I do not have any article or publication. I only focused on industrial work and established a company and startup for myself. I'm doing Biochemistry in Canada and i have a gpa of less than 3 (67%) at the end of my third year. Ideally I would like to do a masters in a same or related field. The low grades are making me think if its too late to save my degree. Also I think that the Cs and Ds on my transcript are gonna make it harder to get accepted into a masters program. Could you give me some guidance? Thank you

Hello mam, I got low GPA during my undergrad but my post-grad GPA are pretty decent & I have a GMAT score of 700. So mam will my undergrad GPA matter anymore & will I get academic points during my profile evaluation & final shortlisting bases on my undergrad GPA or post-grad GPA. Please reply

Both undergrad and postgrad GPA are taken into account but moving from low GPA to higher in grad studies is a highly positive point for you in your applications. You should highlight this point further in your other explanatory documents such as SOP or cover letters about how you improved your GPA and pushed your limits in grad school.

My BSc Engineering CGPA was 2.34. My MSc Management and MS Engineering CGPA is 4.00 & 3.96 respectively. With 2 Rector Merit Awards, should I dare to mention my CGPA on my CV? Don't have any research publications to show off at the moment.

@@greennamu879 In Pakistan. Using the Cut off for Masters Admission is 2.5 but for Engineering degrees its 2.00

If you can explain it in your SOP, that should give you a better chance. Have you considered universities that accept low GPA?

A good starting point would be to take courses from American universities that you want to apply to. A lot of them have open courses that anyone can take. It gives you relatability in your application.

Industrial experience itself is a huge plus on the application. If your industry allows, you can mention the projects you worked on.
