Hi from Türkiye!!!! Thank you for this video: I have some question, I'd be glad if you can give me more details. I graduate with B.Sc in Enviromentale Engineering unfortunately I couldn't manage to get very good grad. I got 2.5 out of 4.0 scale, as stated by our Institute the grad 2.5 is around 74.3%, our BSc is Thesis Base. I pursue M.Sc in Chemical Engineering in different University, with preparatory Classes and Master degree courses I got 3.33 out of 4.0 scale (In this U. with 3.33 around 88.2%) .The question is: If I am applying for PhD in Ch. Eng. does it effect me the B.Sc GPA to get PhD admission?

No your MS GPA matters way more in this case and you don’t need to worry about bachelor GPA

I study at a university where you get 4.0 at 93% and 3.7 at 90% 3.3 at 87% 3.0 at 83% 2.8 at 80% 2.3 at 77-79% my degree is BS in computer science. so would there be any advantage for me if I apply with low gpa according to my university? as our cgpa is the highest in my region.

You can get in, onee e and c doesn't stop you. But repeat those if you can. Or take the same courses online and get some certification.

Hi, how are you?! I hope i get reply to this. I have got 2.66 in my social sciences bachelor. People here in pakistan says its impossible for me to get admitted in any university in Canada for MS international relations or MS political science. I have done 4 internships 2 outside Pakistan and have good work experience aswell. Are they right? Is it really impossible?!

Yes, write a good admissions essay and explain the impact of COVID on your studies in that. That will make your essay stand out and be memorable. It will also give you a chance to convince the selection committee that you can improve , as you did in 11th and 12th grade.

Low gpa in arts is not as bad as it may look like, you still have a good chance to continue your education. You should focus on your portfolio outlook.

I have graduated with a cgpa of 7.5/10 from reputed indian university (Btech in Electronics Engineering).But I was detained in 3rd year of college due to academic malpractice case .Due to which it took 5 years for graduation instead of 4 .(I have never failed in any exams though) Can i get admission in decent university in canada ? With less than 50%, it’s a slim chance. For conversion to GPA, just Google “convert percentage to GPA” and you will find many online calculators

Eligible, yes.. Would it be easy to get accepted, no. You will need to make your CV and SOP stand out to overcome the low percentile.
