My step brother. Never played beyond freshman year. I had 3 years of varsity at least. But every time he comes over for a game and brings his junior high school son, he preaches to him to watch the pro's technique. "YOU SAY YOU WANT TO BE A PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL PLAYER, WATCH THE DAMN GAME!" Like, dude I played with a guy that played D-1 and he never made the pros! And he was the biggest stud player/athlete I ever met!! I think the kid quit football freshman year as well.

What about the boycotter? Whether it's kneeling during the national anthem, protesting the concussions, or getting annoyed at something Roger Goodell said. Often, this person is watching the game at a friend's house or bar, but reminding everyone they are boycotting the league.

You missed oh man this is going to be the year because we did “blank and so and so” during the offseason and everybody thinks it’s going to be our year and it’s going to be different until we either 1. Don’t make our expectations, 2. Show promise that we are finally going to make the big game and win a playoff game giving faith to our fan base. Or 3. Doing the first two and blowing our fan base off and repeating ourselves for the next 10 years. This is being a Vikings fan. Hopefully one day we can finally pull one off that’s all we want. This will be my first season watching nfl. It’s a pretty cool game. My aussie league teams are shit house and it’s finals time, so I’ve got nothing else to watch except nfl. Complicated game though, thank god for KZfaq tutorials :)

@@SuperNagz Well it's *sort of* easy. Each team has 4 downs when they have possession of the ball. IE get tackled four times (without moving forward 10 yards) the ball changes possession. If a team can move the ball over 10 yards toward their goal line they get a first down and the count of downs starts over. If the team feels that they can't complete the ten yards they will generally *punt* (kick) the ball on their fourth down to the other team to hopefully put them farther down the field. There can be crazy things that happen on a punt but they're not common. Cheers man.
