For anyone planning a trip to the Philippines, Summer starts on March all the way to May. Perfect for those looking into tropical beach trips full of very sunny weather. June and July is the heavy rains season, as opposed to the weather in western parts of the world. August to September is still a bit of a good time to go to beaches as weather normalizes a bit. Towards the fourth quarter of the year, waves in the ocean get really strong and is not recommend for surfing. The holiday season on November to December is really bad for people wanting to do urban or city travels as traffic is really heavy because of the christmas rush. Like really unbelievably heavy. January to February are good months to visit non-beach places in the country, as it's not as hot as the rest of the months. 30-35C is the normal year round temp but fluctuates to 20-25 around December to February.

And February is perfect for people who can't tolerate the intense summer heat and humidity but still is very sunny and balmy weather

if you don't have access to these underarm pads, pantyliners work great too! my dad used to use them all the time during summer, and he'd have to change it every 1-2 hours since he'd sweat a LOT, but if you don't sweat buckets then you should be fine with only changing every 3-4 hours!

The UK doesn't get consistently as hot but it's always very humid so when the heat waves hit the most people can do is just try and do as little as possible. It's only about one month a year we have to deal with it so there's essentially no products targeted at dealing with it and British people have a very bad respect for the heat and the sun. I will see people walking around with a lot of exposed skin at the hottest times of the day all the time, it's really worrying how poor the awareness is. BUT! Maybe there is stuff in the drug store! I'll be checking next time I go thanks to this video! Thank you!!!

This is fascinating! My country (Argentina) has a very similar weather (including rainy season! And humidity levels get up to 80-90% sometimes). And yet, we don't have much in terms of easily available heatstroke prevention stuff. We get sports drinks of course, but people are always fascinated when someone in my family takes a fan out of a bag, or carries water around (I have some severe health risks if I'm in the heat for long, even worse if I get heatstroke, so everyone around me learns to be prepared very quickly 😅). I think it's kind of funny how everyone always tells me I shouldn't go to Japan if I don't want my health to get worse, but it almost seems like it would be easier to manage, between cooling wipes and easily available fans and vending machines! Anyways, I really enjoyed the video, I'm looking forward to watching part two!

We were just in Japan for two weeks during the rainy season and I wish I had known about the dry shampoo situation. My hair gets oily super fast, so when I tried finding one, it was super difficult. Then, when I did find one, I realised that it didn't work on me at all. And neither did the second one I bought. I wish I had known about this before we went! Good to know now though :D

I was in tokyo last year in july and it was so hoooooot and humid! I had a bottle of thermal spring water so quite often I would spray it all over my face, neck and arms and then throw me some breeze with a fan to get some sort of a cool air on me. It was the only way I could survive

The weather is so similar to where I live. It will rain out of nowhere and the sun will be up after lol it’s also very, very humid. Always 70% humidity AT LEAST. Usually 80%-90% during summer.
@davewellington73905 жыл бұрын
Where I live in Arizona has a similar weather thing! We call it monsoon season- and even the starting date on that varies year to year! But they're so random that there can be no clouds in the sky and it still rains on you. (We also don't really have seasons either. It's just summer and slightly less hot summer. No humidity though, it's all a dry heat.) Water is an absolute necessity- you can't leave home without some sort of drink and there's so many commercials and news warnings to watch out for the signs of heat stroke. Handheld fans aren't as popular here but umbrellas being used to block out the sunlight are! Also if ever you can feel yourself start to overheat- if you take a cold water bottle (or any drink or an ice pack) and put it to the back of your neck, it will help you cool down faster.

When I studied abroad in Saitama (June through August 2013), the humidity was the hardest thing for me to deal with (being from Silicon Valley, California). Having summer start after the solstice makes so much sense to me as it marks the beginning rather than the midpoint of the season (like I think most western countries do) As someone with a chronic illness, the heat and humidity makes doing things much harder. I had the best summer ever though and I can’t wait to go back!!! ❤️🇯🇵🥰
