I don’t know where you live but in the south it is even worse you just get more hot and sticky because the weather here is already in the 80s and then with humidity I feels like 95 and the. By the time you get the water on you you feel 100+ degrees

What sucked for my last season I had one of the bowl ridell helmets. Although It was sick because I could put water in the top and it would cool my helmet off.

The thing i've found is when i first started wearing contacts sweat stopped burning my eyes. Pretty sure it actually helped my eyes as contacts sit in a saline solution and sweat is damn near the same thing

You can tie a enduracool towel on your head because when you put water on and you grab both ends of the towel and pull it makes the water and the towel cool

I've used chapstick on eyebrows, makes sweat and water go around your eyes...only takes a thin layer and will last whole game unless you while it off

You know the tall that when you get it whet it gets colder you can tie it on your head super tight so your head stays cold and you have some what of a head band

Keep it classic throw a bit of vaseline on your eyebrows. I don't play football but I play hurling and it tends to get very hot during the summer this usually keeps the sweat dripping down the side of ur face instead of down onto ur eyes.

Don‘t pour cold water on your Head, that makes you just sweat even more bc the body has to heat up that area. Do after the game if you really have to.
