Great tips fam! I made a couple hundred from streaming. My advice is submit your release to Lofi labels that have a large network, so your track goes on loads of playlists. Then if you get a Spotify editorial, thats another huge boost to your streams.

I’m a single mom living in a homeless shelter w my kids but I have an iPhone & a passion for music (production & singing/song writing). All I have is BandLab, GarageBand, koala sampler, etc & a pair of headphones rn lol. My mixes aren’t the best at the moment due to having limited equipment options but I do what I can and it honestly doesn’t sound too bad. I plan on going to school for production so I can produce for other artists and for myself. Idk when I’ll have my own place again so having a spot to put a studio in until then is looking iffy. My question is do you think I could still sell beats on beat stars or should I wait to start selling & just focus on documenting my progress and building more of a following? (I have almost 4k on TikTok and have had a few videos go viral)
