Today Coach Vince 'The Anomaly' shows 5 ways of how to fight an aggressive opponent:
1. Check Hook - dictate the distance by step back as you rip a lead hook
2. Step Off-Line - step off of the center line while throwing a rear hand
3. Front Kick - use your longest limb to stab them in the mid-section
4. Forward Pressure - step in and crash the range to enter the clinch
5. Spear Elbow - let them run into your up-elbow as the pressure forward

Just keep your distance, if you lack training and reflex try dodging and covering your head as that's the only thing they know to hit, their brain doesnt know they can hit body shots. But for someone without training they will easily tire after bursting for many missed shots. I don't recommend parrying or counter punching if youre not fast enough or you'll be a victim of Mike Tyson's line which is "Everyone's got a plan until they get punched in the head". Be smart and play safe, cover your face and head, sweep side to side. When you feel they are tired after a couple of seconds, their punches will be weaker and slower, time to counter. Also mix your footwork, be unpredictable. Instead of keeping distance all the time you can actually surprise them by moving forward suddenly followed by a hook to the liver or uppercut. Always keep your head low when dodging. Tldr you keep distance and going side to side while covering your head and face then surprise them with forward movement with a hook to the body. Don't listen to this bullshit kicking them to the legs or pushing them with front kick. These are for experienced fighters
@MultiRainday
@MultiRainday 3 жыл бұрын
For opponents who keeps their distance but keeps on throwing jabs and straights, Just go lower mike tyson style while getting near and hit their body with a hook or an upper cut to their chin. Follow it up with the moves and combos you know to bring them down. Most people don't expect attack to the body and they don't know how to defend it

The first street fight I ever got in when I was 13 I took a guy out with a toe kick. I didn't know what the hell I was doing, I just saw him coming at me and he was a lot bigger than me so I instinctively kicked him in the stomach and my foot was pointed. Took the wind right out of him.

adensanya liked to control his opponents by stiff arming them while they went forward to attack if they get too close adensanya turns his stif arm into a thai clinch and throwing a knee to the head as he pulls it in. darren till uses a great technique by fighting fire with fire he sometimes waits the opponent to rush forward and intercept them with an uppercut

My reflex is usually that check hook but it always deals serious damage to my opponent. My kung-fu master gets mad when I throw the check hook but not the front kick. Even if they react negatively towards both. I really want to tell them that if they're being too aggressive, I have to defend myself.

14 ways to stop aggresively opponent 1) teep kick 2) step back with jab 3)spinning back kick 4) spinning back fist 5) spinning hammerfist 6)switching stance while punching 7) step off 45 degree angle 8) pivoting left or right depending where the opponent charging you at 9) oblique kick very effective to stop aggressor from coming forward at you 10) blocking and countering at the same time because when you block your opponent punch you are at punching range plus by your opponent charging forward at you wild they leave themselve open for a counter 11)spinning elbow 12) flying knee 13) check hook 14) Uppercut while stepping back

Note: with that first choice, that check hook, I'm a shorter dude. So I'd think if I stepped back from someone blitzing, it'd most likely maintain the range the opponent wants. So I'd think instead of stepping back and throwing a lead hook I'd probably wanna step IN and throw an overhand. Also would there have to be any other considerations for a southpaw fighter in that instance?

Set-up your kicks with the Jab. Even if the jab is Not landing, the next time u go for a Strike, Really try pretending to go for a jab again Then go for a Leg Or Body Kick. He is going to be blocking up top for the jabs u have Set-up And because ur Faking the jab to actually land the Kick. Make sure you're moving around when setting up the jab. Do not stay still.

Excellent video, just have a suggestion for the next time to make it seem more "realistic". Do the whole movement, simulating an intense blitz as in a real fight, instead of just using jab and cross (which is barely a blitz) slowly. Blitz implies the opponent doing a lot of strikes while he moves forward.

I noticed for the CHECK HOOK and SPEAR ELBOW when you are hitting the opponent from either the right or left side with the hook or elbow, the lower right or left rib side is exposed to a possible hit. Hey Shane I got a question. But first of all, nice video as always; great content! But, this is for mma/competition. I just got curious; what about in a street fight? In street fights, it’s very common for people to just rush in 100% and throw shots continuously without rest. How do I deal with it and make a move?? Any general tips to look for? Any angles I should be trying to pivot or make? Any specific hooks or punch strings that I should be utilizing..??
@kvee6840
@kvee6840 4 жыл бұрын
All these combos go out the window in a real fight unless you actually train/spar and are used to getting hit. If you're really worried about protecting yourself learn to wrestle. If you're still in school, try out for the team. Striking is fun, but being able to throw people around and control them on the ground is much more valuable in a street fight, rather than gambling with striking.

I really think you'd benefit greatly from the MMA IQ Roadmap that we have available on FIGHTTIPS.com -- the first 2 weeks are absolutely free. That course will break down technique, strategy, rules & concepts, and drills to prepare you for the stand-up striking, wrestling, and grappling aspects that make up MMA. From judging criteria to conditioning drills, the MMA IQ Roadmap could be a 101 college course. Check it out: team.fighttips.com Let me know if you have any other questions 🙏 P.s. love the Max Payne profile pic 🤘
