The moment when Momo was announced to be one of Twice, MiSa's reaction still hits me, I can't.

SIXTEEN was so brutal to be honest because its not just usual trainees competing, we got long time trainees like NaJeongJi, especially Jeongyeon who at some point was "like fuck this, I'll rather work part time at a bakery" and Jihyo who doesn't know other life other than being a trainee who's goal is to debut after training for 10 years. I guess JYP wanted to see if they still have that passion to debut.

Imagine being a confirmed Member of a group but the debut got cancelled for an idol show where you don't end up in the final "winning" group which will gain worldwide fame ...

I know this was quite impossible but I wanna see SIXTEEN reunion and perform again in one stage❤

Could you imagine Itzy as seven members with Somi and Chayeon? Imagine having a Lee sisters rap, or dance break

Out of everyone, I really think Chaeyeon deserves her success the most. She must be a unbelievably strong, resilient and determined person to go through 3 programs. Also, personally, I think she is one of, if not the most, well rounded and talented of the 16 girls. Girl took MAIN VOCAL roles and NAILED them in Produce, she is RENOWNED as an incredible MAIN DANCER by both idols and industry professionals (ie. dance instructors, choreographers), has a charming and funny personality for VARIETY AND can RAP with the sass and rhythm a rapper need, often rapping in IZ*ONE.

4:25 in case you were wondering why Mina and Sana were crying, it was because Sana, Mina and Momo all promised each other that they would debut together. That is also why Sana and Mina were crying so much when Momo was eliminated.

Out of everyone in SIXTEEN I think Lee Chaeyeon went through the most hardships. Stan IZ*ONE!

I think Natty went through the most. She didn't make it in 2-3 survival shows but kept going and now she debuted I'm so happy for her😭

I wouldn’t change the line up of Twice for the world but Minyoung was honestly a waste of talent that could’ve been. Damn... JYP

Every time I hear Chaeyeon’s story I can’t stop my eyes from tearing up just because she had gone through so much and her love for Chaeryoung was so wholesome 🥺🥺🥺. She left JYP so that her sister can have a bigger chance of debuting.

Wish people paid more attention to Jiwon. She did a complete 180 in Idol School, where she was able to show her true self. Her group said if they were to choose another leader, it would be her. Despite her loud personality, they said she has a responsible side to her. She became so much prettier and one of the better vocals of the newer generation. Fromis_9 are all very talented despite the Idol School Stigma. They are selling well in Korea.

This shoulda made me realise they HAD to bring back Minho and Felix.

After we saw sixteen we had the greatest trainees debut as TWICE which were Jihyo,dayhun,jeongyeon,Sana,mina,chaeyoung,momo,tzuyu,and nayeon form as nations girl group for the people who didnt make it i would see them as succsesful stars in the future because nayeon jeongyeon sana jihyo minyeong momo mina ji won dahyun chaeyoung tzuyu chae yeon chaeryoung eun shu somi and natty worked so hard

Somi had gone through a whole lot! Somi went from making it to the finale of Sixteen and got eliminated for being too young to winning 1st in Produce 101 and debuting as an all rounder center in IOI. The disbandment broke her but she SLAYED her time with other temporary groups like UNNIES and Girls Next Door. Now she’s paving her path as a soloist. She’s so talented and has an amazing personality. I’m sure she’ll get her big break as a soloist soon. ❤️❤️❤️ Support Somi 💗🥰

A little mistake on the wonder girls timeline. Sunmi left and was replace by hyelim, then sohee and sunye left, then Sunmi returned and then they disbanded all together in early 2017

JYP raising the best idols in industry. Even those who left JYP ended up debuting and getting success. It's obvious any company can debut all of its idols but I could say that from other groups and soloist with fame now, JYP has the largest number of former trainees and artists than any other company. From Hyunah to AB6IX, JYP left its mark in almost every kpop group.

Finally natty debuted in a right group that suits her. She is shining in kiss of life ✨

momo was chosen because of her dance skills, Twice has a cute concept at the beginning but they needa main dancer who is bold, strong, and energetic. Mina was good, but she was not energetic enough since she is a ballerina. Momo was added to make Twice's dance rating as equal as the others. Even tho Momo has a decent vocal, but her dancing carries Twice

I think part of the reason for Sixteen's alumni's success is because most of the trainees were already at the top level before the show began. JYP already knew what they could do, so he wasn't testing singing or dancing. He was seeing if the girls had star potential, if they'd crack under the pressures of the industry, and how well they'd work as a team. It also didn't hurt that many of the contestants had personality plus on top of all that. The contestants were so good JYP could have easily made two groups from the roaster, though how financially wise that would have been would be another question. The way I see it, he was using the show as both bootcamp training on the harshness of K-pop for the future members, and hype for the future group to the public. As such, I feel the purpose was a little different than the usual survival show.

I think Natty struggled the most, although Chaeyeon joined 3 survival shows, she always has her sister and family with her. Natty was alone away from home, she was a strong contender in Idol School, the show used her popularity as former Sixteen contestant but later robbed the chance away from her. Her talent and charm brought her to finally debut solo.

Besides Twice, I was always ruting for Somi, I always liked her more than the other girls besides Twice since Sixteen, I've been following her career since that time, and that girl has been trough a lot, she's the only solo singer that I'm a fan of in the kpop industry 🔥✨

Watching this Video 2 years later so many new things happened 1. Twice is still a K-pop group 2. Chaeryeong debuted in ITZY 3. Chaeyeon disband from Izone and now a soloist 4. Somi is a soloist 5. Natty debuted in KISS OF LIFE I am so happy for all of them

after stanning twice I watched Sixteen. I knew some of the other ppl who were in other shows (like idol school, PD 101, PD 48) and I've gotta say, Chaeyeon is really strong. First, she was in Kpop star 3, getting into jyp with her sister. Being in Sixteen and but ended up being the first one eliminated. Joining a new company, joining produce 101, barely making it to debut. Became a member of Iz*one, finally achieved her dream. And now izone has disbanded and she's on a new show (Street woman fighter). That's about 8/9 years after her first step of becoming an idol. She's still going, even after all the stuff she's been through. This is why I love her
