In the first sentence جربها ممكن تعجبك, if we don't know what we are taking about specifically why is it in the feminine؟

شاورما ، كنافة ، ملوخية ، بسبوسة … Because most food names are feminine, it’s more likely that you will say it in the feminine form.

You’d use the masculine.

When you speak quickly does the prohibitive لا fuse with the verb that comes after?

No. It’s always pronounced like a long laa. But with some verbs where the initial ti is reduced to “t” it might sound like “laat sawwi” لا تسوي

The verb is made negative in all tenses with ما?

Yes. But not in the prohibitive mood when saying “don’t do…”.

You need the ح. Otherwise you’re negating the present simple.
