Excellent demonstration. I think I might try this build!

Impressive! Clean, fast and efficient! Could you make a small video starting this process from the beginning, arriving to the system, going thru the maelstrom and all, I would love to learn how to get there

Save some of that core for the rest of us! That XENOS is big enough for us all to purge!

@Astyrrean3 ай бұрын
Thanks! Just saw your own version… FYI you never want to run efficient on a thermal vent beam - cooling from TV effect relies on thermal load of the weapon the experimental is on, and efficient severely gimps the weapon for its primarily utility purpose… LongRange on TV beams pretty much always :).

Oh I’m positive you can do more than 50 if you further optimize things. Drop the beams for a medium Sirius MR and you might get to 60-65 even. But then you’d be spamming sinks like crazy. I wanted to show what this specific build could do in a real run. But if you can hit more than 50 with this very build, would love to see it! :)

@@Astyrrean I don't have access to the Python Mk II and I am not giving up my beam in that crowded space anytime soon. So far my single hit record on Haddad isn't half your take but I am practicing! Thank you for the footage, it def gives one perspective

@@Astyrrean Ok, so I have gone solo to Haddad twice now and in my Krait Mk II with pitiful FA off flying skill my PB is %20 damage to the core. Plenty of room for improvement!! LOL

Nice build and I may try it but, I think I will stick with my Chieftain.

Great stuff. QQ: when I solobomb a Titan, I usually just have to hit 2-3 vents and the core is exposed, but it looks like you hit them all. Is there an advantage to hitting more vents? Thanks.
@Astyrrean3 ай бұрын
Yes. The core remains exposed much longer.

it would be nice if there was an ingame titan practice tutorial like for the basic combat. flatten the learning curve it would...

So what happens if you get it to 0%…been out the loop there as I’ve only seen it explode at 0% but the other titans aren’t quite ready to pop yet
@Astyrrean3 ай бұрын
Nothing special really. It’s just no additional bonds are registered above 100% damage. It effectively caps the damage that can be done in a cycle.

FDev really wants this war over 😂 i just think the price for the PMk2 is a nab at trying to get as much money as they possibly can before the next update considering you will be able to get the PMk2 using credits in august....most likely when the war is over
@Astyrrean3 ай бұрын
War will continue well past August. Possibly well into next year. We’ve done 3/8 Titans, and we’ve done by far the easiest ones.

Is it correct to say that core HP is constant (vs resistance level) but bonds scale in value?
@Astyrrean3 ай бұрын
It is correct indeed. Core has 10,000hp,

im curious why even run shields ? thought thargoids attacks go right through the shields why not a 5d repair and 4 cargo rack
@mikewaterfield35993 ай бұрын
Phasing is not total, and personally I found shields help with incidental bumping or the occasional caustic mine you maybe did not notice. Plus repair limpits don’t do any good if your cargo rack malfunctions and you lose your limpits.
@Astyrrean3 ай бұрын
We tried both hull tank and shield tank for the PMk2 - extensively. The internals of the PMk2 are just too poor for it to work well as a hull tank. Shields negate module damage entirely, and enough hull damage that you’ll be able to use all your ammo well before your hull even reaches 50% - unless something major goes wrong. Shields also aren’t “ammo limited” like limpets, and furthermore don’t lose said ammo when getting hit. Last but not least, shields allow you to use concordant sequence in a wing, which is broken OP! All in all, shields remain suboptimal for AX, and, given the choice, you should definitely go hull-tank. It’s just that on the PMk2 really doesn’t do well as a hull tank, and does particularly well as a shield tank!

You cannot call it a bomber when you’re firing missiles
@wstavis31353 ай бұрын
Almost all modern bombers do anymore is launch missiles.
@shadowmystery56133 ай бұрын
What are you talking about, even modern bombs are guided and got computers installed XD The times of purely ballistic bombs that are dropped/ejected have long since passed.
@mikewaterfield35993 ай бұрын
Technically that would make it an A or “attack” designation at least using the fleets nomenclature.
@orderoftwelve3 ай бұрын
50% of what? Usually the AX-Missiles hit for 500k per module...looked like you hit a low 900k despite having multiple AX missile modules. Perhaps this is due to the strength it has through systems, giving it some type of unknown resistance to the usual 500k per axi module strike?
@Astyrrean3 ай бұрын
It’s 50% of the thermal core integrity. I think you might be thinking of Titans with much lower damage resistance (credit bonds scale off of that - the lower the damage resistance, the higher the bonds per each 1% of core damage). Hadad is presently at “extremely high” (the second-highest after “maximum”.)
