I have a collection of chopper bicycles I'm thinking about getting a pair of springer forks for at least two my bikes cuz the road I live on is sort of rough and a suspension sissy bar put on the back of the two bikes I'm going to be putting the springers on
@andrewdouglas63255 ай бұрын
Cuz I've seen a springer front end on eBay for a little cheaper but that cheap it's decent looking pair of forks
@andrewdouglas63255 ай бұрын
Hey do you know what size of the steer tube on a triple tree spring fork will fit the occ chopper bicycle or not just out of curiosity

4:00 are they cable actuated? That's actually a decent brake size, I imagine it stops very rapidly even with a full load.

Hydraulic brakes

2:11 more importantly, can you unlock the motor to full power in settings, or is it one that restricts you artificially?
@sociopathmercenary5 ай бұрын
Easy to unlock.
@mattparker972610 ай бұрын
3:24 is it though? Even a stock chinadoll with a 44 tooth sprocket can go 25mph, AND, more importantly, there are gas stations on every corner, and it takes maybe 5 minutes to fill up on fuel, maybe less if you carry an extra pre mixed gallon gas tank like I do.

Now you just have to do it legal and not hide behind a fake 49cc sticker.

Wheres the v2 100cc review?

9:06 I REALLY like the double yoke kickstand. It would be a nightmare trying to get this bike with cargo balanced otherwise, and I wish ALL ebikes used them.
@mattparker972610 ай бұрын
2:53 ok, good that it's 48volt. Would have preferred a 72 volt, and 14 AH means it has rougly a 14 mile range, in real terrain, at my weight. (I own a lectric XP 2.0 so I have some experience with these ebikes). So far I am NOT impressed with anything other than it being pretty reliable. Range is still the biggest limiting factor (the grocery store is 5 miles away from me one way.)
@sociopathmercenary5 ай бұрын
The battery is 692wH. You should get a lot more range then that unless you're running on power level 5 and don't peddle at all. I weigh almost 400 lb and ride in the country on hilly roads. No problem getting 30 mi conservatively.

4:11 I very much dislike where Velotric has put the battery on this machine. Why cut out part of the frame (which I assume is aluminium, I also dislike that, I'd prefer steel.) that weakens the frame, AND you have all that weird plastic under the cargo area, and ok, the safe seems like a cool idea, but how much would you daily use that, knowing you have a flat space to tie down, and probably will carry a backpack anyways? If they filled that space with a GIANT batterypack I think they could fit probably a 200 AH battery in. Then you're talking true car replacement vehicle.

The plastic is to keep your clothing clean if you're commuting. This bike obviously is not for you so why do you keep commenting? If you want extra battery, buy one. You could also wire a plug for parallel and put a solar battery pack on the rack. Although the extra battery is actually cheaper by the watt hour.
@mattparker972610 ай бұрын
2:43 that is not a positive feature to me. Can I buy that 20 inch tire at walmart? Or do I have to go to a fancy shmantsy bike shop? The same goes for the silly fat tires too.
@vintagethrifter211410 ай бұрын
You get the tire from the same place that the motorized OCC and Jesse James West Coast chopper guys get theirs.

Why did you kick your leg over instead of using the step through?🤔😁 Too bad they have a left thumb shifter. Should have a right twist throttle for the real world of whenever you need to use hand signals.🥴
@mattparker972610 ай бұрын
5:38 see? no regard for rural transportation, whatsoever, not just in terms of realworld range, but also basic design of the bike. Yeah, I'm leaving lots of critical comments on this review, but that is because of my real world experience with ebikes. I find them lacking for me and effectively anyone who doesn't live in a city and doesn't have super smooth flat roads.
@mattparker972610 ай бұрын
ehh go back to 2 stroke bikes! All these electric bikes are the same. Also none are good for bigger riders out in the counrty. Or in hilly terrain. Or if they are, they're 10 grand.
@Few.Be.There.That.Find.It.9 ай бұрын
Wow you got an electric bike? You just need a dress and a purse and the picture will be complete.
@mattparker972610 ай бұрын
4:15 bullshit. maybe with a 160 lbs rider on ultra flat terrain. MAYBE. But that's not realistic to most of the country.
