Next time you change hydraulic filter. Take a shop vacuum and stick end of hose in where you pour hydraulic oil in and turn it on. It pulls a vacuum and helps keep oil loss to a minimum. Great you 2 can work together and get a long good. Always a learning curve when working on your stuff when you don't work on equipment every day. Always blow air filter from inside out. Not outside in. Have a great day be safe.

I do on my oil changes my hydrostatic changes and front axle. I flush out the oil but freshen and a big factor. You have to check the torque on the wheels the loader and everything I do all that but you guys are doing a good job. Great video. 👍

When you look the front drive shaft runs through the gap created in the oil pan otherwise they would have to lower or offset the drive shaft

Chris just a Sugestion. Once a month or week pressure wash the dirt buildup out of the moving parts. Tractor and parts will thank you. We have farm tractors with 13000+ hours on them and there is no dirt buildup on any of them. And it makes maintenance a breeze. Nive Kioti I just purchased a DK 5320 myself. Got to do my 50 hour service now. Thanks for the video

I used the Dremel today to sharpen an old chain I was planning to replace. After finishing it as you demonstrated I tested it on some Maple logs. I was thrilled. It cut through Maple like a knife through soft butter. Thank you for demonstrating this.

I was told when young that when an older worker made a suggestion on how to do something listen. The may have experienced the task and it will be less painful.

I also used a paint marker and painted up the dip stick tips on the transmission engine oil and front end so it was easier to see the oil level. The oils are so clear it is hard for me to see the actual level. This little hack help out checking the levels!

Whew.... I would reconsider using any brushes around radiators. The cooling fins are very soft and easily bent or damaged, which will restrict air flow and also trap more debris. Avoid bending them at all costs. A water hose is a better choice, BUT only after You've sprayed in down completely with a biodegradable degreaser. A kioti tractor shop mechanic explained this way. He said if you are busy hogging, the radiator will catch particles of the cuttings, some of which may have sap in them which causes that debris to be sticky. If you hit it with just water, it'll dry hard and cake up making it more difficult to clean which inhibits cooling as well. Use a degreaser that will not damage aluminum, spray in on generously, let it soak in, then wash it off with a garden hose with a gentle flow. Should be like new when you are done. Let it dry well before going back into a field bush hogging again. Would have liked to see you service the fuel filter. One more thing. Change out that hydraulic fluid in your front end asap! Put the recommended 80/90 gear oil in there before it damages your front wheel seals.

The front drive shaft for the 4wd runs through that gap in the oil pan. Most of the time the deep part of the pan is offset to one side of the shaft, interesting design.

As a ck4010own hst heads up and check for loose fittings, I had a leak right above my rear axle, turns out the hydro line loosened up, I went through with adjustable wrenches and channel locks and made sure I checked all the fittings I could access without taking things apart.

Wash the dirt out of radiator with soapy water and rinse with garden hose. Blowing it should be from the inside out then washing with water. Also air cleaner should be blown from inside out aswell.

Good morning Chris!! 😀😀 The reason why you have 2 drain plugs on the oil pan is because the front driveshaft goes through the channel in the middle. I would be a little nervous about your front axle using fluid. If it's leaking you need them to fix it under warranty. It's probably leaking down into the final drives behind the wheels. But it's really not supposed to and there should be a way to also check the level in the lower final drives. It might be all in one and if it is it probably wasn't full from the factory. Just keep a eye on it. When it's finally full it should stop going down. I usually have the dealer do my first service on a new machine so they can't say you did something wrong and then not cover it under warranty if you were to have a problem with it. I also usually write the hours on the filters. With the amount of hours you put on it. It might not need a oil change for over a year or more. Take care my friends!! TTYL!! Logger Al

The 50 hr engine oil change is because of the use of break-in oil in the engine, and the first were in of the transmission the metal particles that come free collect in the filter

I started doing maintenance and repairs on my car when I was a poor college student and just kept doing it. My service is due now and I payed like 100€ for everything, including things for 2 small repairs. Would have costed me probably close to 500€ if done in a shop. I do a lot of things, but not everything. I estimate it to take 3 hours. If convert it to hourly pay, it's amazing! This way I was able to afford a car and nowadays I can buy TOYS instead ;)

It also helps to put the hours on the filter alongside the date. Because you do oil changes by the hour not the month.

Diesel always looks dirty because some soot passes by the piston rings after combustion. It’s not a problem and totally normal. The oil pan is split to allow the driveshaft to pass through it, 2WD models have a standard oil pan.

Tony's a funny guy and a good friend. Weird, I thought all Kioti's had inner and outer air filter elements? Should be blowing air through the air filter from the inside out, not outside in. Split oil pan is to allow the driveline to be tucked up higher and increase engine oil capacity. When it comes to equipment maintenance, my philosophy has always been lube is cheap and parts are expensive (not to mention labor), so I always cut the service intervals by half, AND I send an oil sample to a lab for analysis. Not only do they check for all wear metals, they also check for other contaminants such as fuel, coolant, silicone. I still spend less than others because I do all my own maintenance and repair work. I know it is way overkill, but it helps me to sleep at night lol. And my stuff last literally forever...

I’ve been doing the services on my tractor to try to save some money. I have a Bobcat 5558 which is really a Kioti painted white.

Tony's a good guy to have around! I don't do any of my own oil changes either, its not worth it for me to be down an hour or so, then find a place to recycle the oil etc. I get my diesel oil changed at the dealer for 180 bucks and gas engines cost 60 bucks or so, so not worth it for me.

Chris, those drain plugs are torqued to German specs, guten-tight!

The mechanic used a shop vac on the fill hole of the hydraulic system to slow the fluid leaking while replacing the filter.

You need to replace that air filter soon. Blowing off a paper element filter helps a little bit, but the fines are embedded in the filter media. See if you can find a case of filters for cheaper than buying individual.

Ooh for reaching in betweeen the radiators, maybe try a bottlebrush. It'll reach all the way through and is the perfect shape.

Tip; when you clean that air filter move away from the tractor. you put all that dust into the air and there is no longer a filter on the intake. She is ready to go now, good maintenance will keep her alive for a long time !!

With more rain, mud and the possibility of snow, I wonder it a full set of tire chains would be help full on your tractor

On the filter, put the replacement date for when you did it and hr time of replacement. On the bottom of the filter, so you visually have the information. If I don’t have the experience of something like changing the oil etc then I’d gladly pay for it. Poke a air hole in the handle of oil bottle on the opposite side of the pour spout.

It’s only the rubber seal that tends to make them hard to loosen once the seals been broken they spin off easily chris

I bought a dk4210se recently and checked the front axle at 19 hours. I had to put in 2.5 quarts of oil in mine. Guess it’s just the way it comes. Lol sadly my dealer gave me the wrong owner manual and I’m waiting for the correct one to come. He ordered it. Anyway I’m curious to where all the grease fittings are? I’ve been getting the ones I’ve found. Even the random one under the rear sheet metal. Looks like it’s for the three point raise lower. Anyway thanks and enjoy.

According to the Kioti owners manual it says to change the HST filter every 200 hrs and change the HST fluid only if contaminated or there’s been a repair- for what its worth. Also after adding axle case oil it says to wait 15 minuted before rechecking and re-adding more gear oil. You may have over filled it? Thanks for the video.

Now may I inquire on your decision to purchase a smallish tractor????. I'm not an expert but in my view it seems that a skid- steer would be more useful, maneuverable and flexible for your application wile providing the same type of functionality. Hey Guys, great videos. Why can't you remove the vented filler cap for the hydraulic fill tube and clean it. Once the fill hole is clean cover it with duct tape. this should create a vacuum. There should be minimum fluid loss.

y there 2 drain plug is the pan has 2 sumps and as u can see in the midle of the oil pan your front drive shaps go thouw that y need to drian plus and the oil sillter seal only need oil on one side going to the block to make it not stick and turn with out hurting the seal

I always take the oil filter off first, and then drain the oil pan. Some of that dirty oil goes down into the pan, this way you get all the dirty oil out. Hey Chris, you can always add a pc. of rubber inter tube around the filter if it slips in the wrench. Always tight from the factory when then are putting them together. I think Tony should get dinner from Taco Bell as well. Good Man TONY !!!!! Chris, you need to pressure wash all the mud off before winter comes. I would of had that machine all washed off before Tony got there. A Clean Kioti is a Happy Kioti ! 🤣
