Very helpful and informative. Just got a 3520 and plan on doing most of the maintenance myself as well. Have enjoyed many of your excellent videos and they helped me decide on a Kioti. Thank you much and we may be neighbors as well. I'm in central/ eastern NC. Great job and much appreciated!!!

Awesome, glad to hear you got a 3520. I really like the new look they came out with. Hope you are as happy with yours as I am mine. Glad to hear from a neighbor, I’m about 40 miles east of Raleigh. Thanks for the positive feedback and glad you are enjoying the video’s. I really enjoyed doing them.

Very informative video. It's easier to add engine oil when you have the fuel filter removed. I change the fuel filter every time I change oil. Dirty fuel causes more issues than you think, especially with electronic injection.

Thanks for watching and the feedback. I can definitely see your point about filling the oil once fuel filter is out of the way.

TIP: When have a sideways oil filter, shape aluminum foil into flat funnel under the filter. Diverts the inevitable spillage while unscrewing away from frame and channels into bucket. Easier clean up. Great content keep it up.

I usually use a gallon sized ziplock bag but your method sounds like it could be just as effective and less wasteful so I think I'll give it a try. Thanks for the idea

Great video, thanks for sharing. One other really important item to do every 10 hours is to retorque all of the bolts. Tires, front end loader mount bolts, top link bracket and ROPS bracket. The loader bolts and the top link bracket bolts will loosen over time and need to be retorqued. Trust me, I learned the hard way on my CK3510.

Thanks for watching. Very good point. I put blue lock tight on the loader bolts early on as some of them started to work loose. So far, haven’t had any work loose since.

Hello. Just completed my 50hr service. I like the idea of sharpie on hydro dip stick. I was surprised how much fluid I had to replace from just changing filters.
@backyardcountrylivin1514
@backyardcountrylivin1514 9 ай бұрын
Hello Kevin, the sharpie trick does help to see the fluid levels better. I did the shop vaccum trick on the fill port for the hydraulic fluid and only lost maybe a quart or so. Thanks for checking out the video and commenting.

On the hydraulic fluid amount, since it requires over 5 gallons, so your force to buy two 5 gallon containers or you aware you can get a smaller container, thanks

Sorry my comment is in a form of a question, can you get hydraulic fluid in a smaller container?

How do you change the HST and hydraulic filters without draining the oil? Don’t you lose the fluid when you take the filters off? I’m getting ready to do my 50 hr service.
@backyardcountrylivin1514
@backyardcountrylivin1514 Жыл бұрын
Yes, you will loose a bit of fluid. I put a shop vac on the fill port for the hydraulic fluid and had my son turn it on when as removed the filters. This creates a vaccum and very little fluid is lost. Probably less than a half quart. There are a couple of you tube videos out there on this and it works well. Here is link to the video I watched. If you decide to just change them without the vaccum, I would guess you would loose a quart or maybe a little more. Thanks for watching and commenting. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r9mFgJNmzOCren0.html

Which Kubota seat cover did you get for your tractor? I’ve been searching and like the design you picked
@backyardcountrylivin1514
@backyardcountrylivin1514 Жыл бұрын
Here is the link to the one I got from Amazon. It’s not a perfect fit, but the seat and backrest worked out pretty good. The armrests are too small, so I made a cut on the bottom of them so they would slide over and then wrapped them with two strips of Velcro to hold in place. Had it on there almost a year and it’s seems to be holding up well. Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing. www.amazon.com/Durafit-Seat-Covers-tractor-Orange/dp/B01FZQJN24/ref=pd_vtp_3/132-6572531-9018743?pd_rd_w=l9kJM&pf_rd_p=96226b5f-2d9a-439b-be45-97603787c682&pf_rd_r=SK9Z8F1Q1AAH3K39B7H7&pd_rd_r=18daaaed-ac58-41ed-803b-a386480d2365&pd_rd_wg=UtNtQ&pd_rd_i=B01FZQJN24&th=1

I ordered this seat cover, same pattern. The arm rest covers fit perfectly. It’s the cover for the B model tractors. www.amazon.com/Durafit-Seat-Covers-Kubota-Tractor/dp/B084M6QVL3/ref=mp_s_a_1_16?crid=8GOWOWOSIY55&keywords=kubota+seat+cover&qid=1667144686&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0LjY2IiwicXNhIjoiNC43MSIsInFzcCI6IjQuMzIifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=kibota+seat+cover%2Caps%2C81&sr=8-16

Will the transmission filter fit on the hydronic side and Vice versa? In other words could I get the filters backwards?
@backyardcountrylivin1514
@backyardcountrylivin1514 2 жыл бұрын
I think it is possible that either filter could screw on in either spot as the filter thread size appears to be the same. However, the hydraulic filter (gray) has the o-ring on the outer edge of the filter and is belved inside where the threads are, sort of funnel shaped. The transmission filter (orange) has the o-ring more towards the middle of the filter and the inside where the threads are is flat. I would think if you were to get mixed up and cross them that they would both leak due to the different location of the o-rings on each filter. If they are the filters from dealer, they should be colored as mentioned above. Orange (transmission) should go on left side (if you are sitting on tractor) and gray (hydraulic) should go on right side. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

Does your bucket stay up in the air mine lowers without me touching it even when it's running
@backyardcountrylivin1514
@backyardcountrylivin1514 9 ай бұрын
Yes, my bucket stays up when running. I’m guessing you may have a hydraulic leak or maybe leak by on one of the ports on the hydraulic valve. Check all your fittings to be sure everything is tight. Thanks for checking out the video and commenting. Hope you get your issue resolved.
