Great video man, I had the Zero Reds for a bit (gave them away in the video review for them) they were a solid set and there's so many good IEM options for gaming within the same price range. IEMs are definitely an option gamers should consider.

The original ones (blue) are better for first-person shooters. Red is better for music and more immersive gaming. I still use my blue ones occasionally.

Gaming accessories are generally feature focused rather than focusing on doing a few things well. It really is the Achilles heel of a lot gaming focused companies. Don't get me wrong, some of the features would be amazing to have if they were built into more headphones that are audio quality focused.

Completely agreed, the headset still has very convenient features, but when it comes to sound, it is not close.

My ears are pretty ok with the iems I have the blue version and the reds on the way, but I find discomfort when using for too much time, or just using them with a bad overall silicon shape/type for my ear, I found the best option for my ear to be the middle sized silicone cups, anyways either way the small size for some reason hurts my ears, the big ones aswell, also the cups affect the sound quality a lot for example I can say for sure that the middle sized cups on the left side of the box sound better than all of the other ones, while the middle sized cups on the right side feel the most comfortable

I don't think you have small ears. I think the IEMs just have a big ass nozzle diameter. That is probably the reason for discomfort.

Many IEM have high resistance due to the built-in driver they use and most phone does not have enough power to drive it. You will typically need to increase your phone volume up to 90% inorder to get a decent volume from the IEM. Try getting amplifier like moondrop Dawn Pro, it will make your iem sound even better.

I personally prefer wireless headsets all day, I like the convenience , I’m using Audeze Maxwell, but compared to most gaming headsets I’ve used, these $50 earphones sounded better.
@Basics_of_Gameology
@Basics_of_Gameology 7 ай бұрын
@@TechTicals From Rtings, Audeze Maxwell Wireless is pretty good and the Steelseries has better Neutral Sound (Overall) and Gaming. Sound in terms of imaging, sound stages and distortions etc. I got the Steelseries Pro Wireless mainly due to the fact that it has a charging dock and I can swap the batteries for continuous gaming experience. As a Esports player who races 24 hour Online Racing races, the charging function is very helpful for me. But again, comparing a USD 299.99 Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless to a Mid/Entry tier IEM, plus maybe a HyperX Solocast USD 59.99, you can get a 240USD IEM and still won't break the budget. You can also invest in software or amps and make it even better. So gaming ones are more like feature oriented and tries to multi-tast, while IEMs just do the simplest thing as a headphone/earphone right.
@sincariucarturalbert1275

You haven't tried IEMs then, because gaming headsets like yours are actually just a pay to the brand and are not anything special when it comes to sound quality, the wireless factor and comfort is good as I also have wireless headsets, but the IEMs sound quality is unbeatable within the price range of your headset I can assure you even these 50$ IEMs even tho they sound like IEMs that cost 300-400$ beat any gaming headset in sound quality, and footsteps audio in games, i personally have logitech g pro x wireless headset, hyperx wireless headset and sony wireless, and I can assure you none of these beat these 50$ IEMs that I got 2 weeks ago, I use them for gym aswell as gaming, and they are my mains, I have my red version on the way that I will use only for gym and music

@@sincariucarturalbert1275 I have a pair of Audio Technica ATH-LS50iS IEM $85USD and they do not beat the Arctis Pro Wireless in terms of bass, neutral, and treble accuracy. Using Rtings, a trusted comparison website with tonnes of tests. The best open back monitor headset from Audio Technica is ATH-R70X that cost $350USD. If you put the Arctis Pro Wireless so called "Gaming headset" next to it, it has better Bass and Treble accuracy than the ATH. Your G Pro X does not even come near to the Arctis Pro Wireless, just change the search results and see for yourself. Bass Accuracy is a score of 9.1 vs 7.9. Mid accuracy 9.2 vs 9.0. Treble accuracy 8.0 vs 7.7; Peaks and dips, Imaging are all losing to the Arctis Pro Wireless by a HUGE margin. It mainly lost to the Steelseries from Standard Deviation due to the inconsistency of results. All the graphs, tables, are on Rtings website. Just type "Arctis Pro Wireless VS G Pro X" on Google and click on Rtings.com to have a look. I don't know what HyperX and Sony you are using, let's say you are using a HyperX Cloud III Wireless, the latest and best one from HyperX. it is still worse than the Arctis Pro Wireless by a huge margin. Bass accuracy: 9.1 vs 6.9; Mid accuracy 9.2 vs 9.3; Treble accuracy: 8.0 vs 7.4. Again, all the details and graphs are on Rtings. I am not saying the IEMs are bad. But the statement of "Even $50 IEMs are better than the best of Gaming Headsets" are wrong. The Arctis Pro Wireless is not even the strongest headset from SteelSeries now, they updated it and released it as Nova Pro Wireless. Here is the Rtings website as a proof: This is comparing the best of the Monitor headset of Audio Technica VS the Arctis Pro Wireless "Gaming" Headset. www.rtings.com/headphones/tools/compare/steelseries-arctis-pro-wireless-vs-audio-technica-ath-r70x/751/1955?usage=19&threshold=0.10

And the G Pro X does not even come close to the audio quality of the Arctis Pro Wireless. Just look up RTings and play with the comparison tables.
