TKOR, you should definitely try a mixture of baking soda and dish soap for those "I can't wash it off" situations. My mom uses it for heavy duty cleansing(and sometimes on easier things) and it works wonders. For example, we had a bunch of stains in our bathtub from years of use, and she coated the tub with a thin layer of baking soda and dish soap, let it sit for around 2 hours, and when she scrubbed it out all the stains had disappeared.
