50 things you will never unsee in Minecraft! Minecraft has many blocks, items and mobs with some things you will probably never unsee again. From the new camel mob having a cat face on it to the new sniffer looking like pacman, let's see how many Minecraft things you didn't know about that you cannot look at the same way after watching.

Fun fact: the painting's in minecraft are cool and look nice, but if you look at their back frame they use the OG minecraft Oak wooden Plank texture not the new Wooden Plank texture.

The reason that there is a strange outline for pickaxes (and for all other non-place-able items) is because the texture is 2D, there is no model to properly fold the texture (which isn't designed to be folded anyways), and so Mojang made it essentially piecemeal together different sections of the texture. Unfortunately, this means that there are imperfections rather than using a plain model, and so a gap appears, which is the outline. Also, it is not always white, either.

This even happens with a few 2D blocks. For example, ladders in the hand appear to be 3D, because, once again, Mojang is too lazy to code a model and to make a texture that can properly be folded by the model.

@@TieANot No, and actually it would not surprise me, as I got a new mouse and it reacts differently to the old one. This causes things to sometimes be clicked when I don't want them clicked. Thanks, by the way.

And the reason that zombies don't cross rails is because they don't want to get run over by a train! ;) No, actually Mojang coded it in so that mobs would not spawn or trespass on rails because if they would, they would stop minecarts and disrupt rail systems.

The next one is the grass block. If it is on the edge it has a skeleton or Wither skeleton head in the bottom middle that I can no longer unsee.

The chiseled stone brick has a 3x3 center but it's a 16x16 block and a 3x3 square can't go in the center together and this is why minecraft should just make the middle a 4x4 square.

Despite the chieseled stone brick texture being uncentered, did you also know that when decimal numbers(floats and doubles which are types of decimal numbers used in programming) are set to zero, they actually aren't really, in that case floats are set to 1.176 ^ (- 38) and doubles are set to 2.225 ^ (- 308), so the inprecision doesn't matter but still

9:50 its actually a good way to access the backs of signs now since you can write on both sides!! you can add hidden messages on your realm/server, tho its suggested you have at least a block of access behind the sign since if its a flat wall it's a bit diffuclt

Explanation of #15: The different faces of items in Minecraft are 2D textures put together with a technique called 2D-to-3D stitching, which is quite difficult to line up perfectly which is why you can see those seams (white lines).

The white outline on the pickaxe exists with all items as that is how minecraft renders item sprites in your hand.

OMG! When I saw Piglins the first time on Minecon Live, I seriously thought they were girls wearing pig hats, then I realised they are ugly pigs. 🤣 I never thought anyone notice that too. 😂
