I watched this video years ago, started being raw vegan, felt amazing and then slid back partially to vegetarian, then vegan. I’m not well being a junk food vegan, but watching this has ignited a fire again. What he said at the end about even a worm having its own reality, God made it that way. I don’t know if Fred is still with us, I hope so, he’s an amazing man, made by God. The book of Genesis in the Bible tells us that God made us to eat fruit, nuts and seeds. He gave us ALL fruit bearing trees to eat from apart from the tree of life. One day we will go back to the garden of Eden as God intended. Thank you Fred. What an amazing creation you are.

I remember boys in grade school who couldn't read that well. They weren't dumb at all, but when they had to read in front of the class the whole world changed for them. It was so devastating for their self esteem. Being able to read really well marks you as intelligent in the eyes of a lot of people. Other gifts and forms of intelligence seem to be under acknowledged and under appreciated. It breaks my heart, and seeing this guy and hearing his story just opens the world in a wider way to be able to see and understand the experiences and gifts of other people. I remember feeling that the teachers and other kids thought I was stupid because I was different (I could read fine). But it turned out that I was actually advanced. I just didn't always get their backwards way of thinking and teaching. I was operating under a different set of paradigms, and trying to force sense out of bs just left me confused, basically.

God bless this man!! Amazing soul...😊 In the last 5min or so, when he says that most people change when their conscience speaks louder than nonsense, I was really blown away!! He is speaking of the fight within our mind between our inner voice vs the Ego... When we confront that and listen to our inner voice, we are surely on the spiritual path.... Amen..🙏

An 85 year old man who is still quite active - WAY beyond his peers many of whom are either dead or in nursing homes - is by default a brilliant man. Intelligence is good only if it enhances survival. Mr. Bisci is a survivor "par excellence." God Bless him. I hope he is still around and would love to see another interview. I am a 70 year old man who recently won the senior golf division for my state. Then I out ran every man 60 and older in a 5K on a tough hilly cross-country course. Yet I was scheduled to have heart surgery only 3 years ago and knee surgery as well. But I declined both. The body is an amazing gift that can heal itself if it is taken care of. We have been "trained" to believe that eating fast food, etc. is normal and ok. What is normal is eating raw food and fasting and very little animal protein and not eating after dark. I switched to that regimen and I am literally a new man. Tonight at a restaurant with a sibling brother, he asked the 50 year old waitress to guess who was younger. She pointed at me. But I am 8 years older. I hope to look as good as Mr. Bisci when I am 85. For perspective.... Around 1752 a British Lieutenant, Henry Timberlake, volunteered to be a "treaty hostage" for a treaty between the British and the Cherokee. He was around 33-34 years old. As I recall he was in east virginia and tried to canoe most of the way but it sank so he walked much of the way. He lived with the Cherokee for about a year. Around 1800 he wrote an autobiography. That book was used by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) in the 1930's to pre-identify possible indian villages (long ago abandoned and overgrown) so that archeologists, etc. could examine, record and collect artifacts. The TVA found his book to be amazingly accurate. In that book he also talked about the Cherokee. In a short section he commented on how healthy and fit they were. He said that "a noticeable number" of the elders were 150 years old "and still quite active". He said that even the "old" women were impressive. He noted one that was 62, about an inch shorter than him and was routinely carrying what he estimated to be about 200 lbs of weight. he didn't say what this was (water buckets, logs?) The humbly accurate person that he was, he sheepishly acknowledge that he "could not do what she does." even though he was half her age and a very fit soldier. That shows the potential of how to stay healthy. Eat raw food, small amounts of meat (compared to today), plenty of sunshine, plenty of good water, plenty of exercise and plenty of rest. He made no mention of when they ate but it's safe to say they weren't cooking in the dark if they cooked very much at all. It was so much easier and convenient to go grazing in the early morning when fruits/vegetables were freshest and plumb and to not be grazing in the dark. My goal: 100+ since I got a late start compared to the Cherokee.

I've just found your channel & this is the first conversation I've listened to. I love this man, Fred. Just wow. What an amazing testimony to the power of living foods and a clean diet, which equals a clean, spirit filled life the way I beleive God designed for us to live. I went raw over a year and a half ago and have done about three or four fasts in this time, and I have to say, I've experienced God in ways I never knew existed. I'm in this for the long-haul, and feel so blessed to have come across this particular interview. I could talk to Fred for hours or days - I would love to hear so much more about his life. So very warm and wise. These are the rare ones I want to learn from. Thank you for this gift.

As an African American I can relate and appreciate your beautiful memories of Italian culture, family and food. I grew up in Newark the old Italian location and other nationality during the 60s was separated but all struggled. Yes the world have changed and MORALITY and RESPECT SEEMS LIKE A THING OF THE PAST. YOURE HONEST ABOUT YOUR LIFE AND THE BEAUTY OF GROWING UP. I MISS THE LIFE AS IT WAS WHEN FAMILY LOVE, DIGNITY, AND RESPECT WAS IMPORTANT. I STARTED LEARNING ABOUT JUICING ORGANIC IN MY 20's AND CONTINUE TO WORK TOWARDS VEGETARIAN IN MY 60's. God blessings be with you. This Dr. I was never familiar with what a interesting man and his journey. I loved the way Dr. Fred Bisci explained the relationship with food and how it effects us spiritually. I'm over 50 and just started eating Vegan hopefully at some point I'll go totally raw. It is actually pretty easy and simple for myself? The energy alone is amazing I don't drink coffee like I use to and quit sugar awhile back outside of fruit. I just have a general sense of well being and NO cravings for any meat whatsoever. I can't believe it took me so long but I'm glad I'm here.

Zak Thomas Humphreys Can you give me any direction..I m so sick an tired of being fatigue an no quality of life.I have give up pork an seafood an now dairy.I have only had grass fed beef in a burrito an its been 2 weeks.I drink coffee when i get up which is usually late cause im so fatigue. I win ball all organic fruits and vegetables and been juicing. But with no energy I can't face me nothing to eat and I tend to drink a little Coco late night with some peanut I have given up ice cream which I've ate every night both for 12 years. But is part of dairy so I hope I stay strong and don't go by anymore and it's not in the house because that's when you really could lose control. I do a lot of research but I just can't seem to get motivated physically I'm on pain meds and I Wing myself down"methadone"to 1 ten mg an 1/2. So is that the sugar the caffeine and not knowing what to eat besides juicing. I don't eat processed food and I'm out of pure desperation I bake can tomato basil soup low sodium. I just don't want to return to that lifestyle of meat and process and ordering pizza and even cooked Foods at the restaurant down the road they have no nutrients there just can foods seasoned an Meats an pies, bread.. do you want needs to buy some protein I joined a gym and I'm trying to work out a little but I've been so fatigued lately. Gotta push myself tomorrow and I'm going to juice and maybe I can make me a salad I need a couple of pieces of fruit I just don't know what to do I'm taking a multivitamin. One KZfaq teacher said I take enzymes. Yes great KZfaq videos his name Stan McDonald. But he lives in Hawaii and as his own coconut trees and all these fruit trees Panda Garden. I'm on a fixed income so I have to really make what I get count and spend my money wisely toward what's going to benefit me the most. I've seen we had similar addictions and even the guy that just interviewed this wonderful man mr. Fred I heard him say he had addictions I just like to know how you go about getting off how long it takes and is there anything that can help me get through it. I sure would appreciate any info or to leave me to any info thank you so much

Hey Mike, I've written this once before somewhere, but I have to tell you again what an incredible inspiration your Everyday Detox podcast has been. I've been cleaning after our beloved dog has passed away & have 'binge-listened' to many of the episodes, including those I've heard before. Listening has also introduced me to your amazing guests. You've all been real teachers for me as I journey closer to what my heart calls me to which is raw veganism. I'm just so grateful to you, Fred, Gil, Rebekah & your guests. I'll be looking for what you're doing currently. Awesome job, Mike (underscored). Thank you!!!

I absolutely love this guy. You know those Jack Ass movies where he wears the Grandpa suit but you can tell it's not really a grandpa because of the way he moves almost too youthfully to be "an old guy" ? That's how I feel when looking at Fred. The youth of a teenager is shining through an older, yet well cared for, exterior. I feel so much warmth from his presence as well.

I'm only 16 minutes into the video, but I love Fred and his mom already! Love that they ate real food. I can imagine what he said is true about experiencing the death of your baby. One of my friends had a baby who died because of his 2-mknth sh0ts. :( I have four kids and I'm with them almost all the time; love learning with them. I agree: squatting is way better than lying down to give birth! I haven't even pushed because I had all csections (I was very sad about that), but with the one that I got closest to birthing without interventions -- because I was at home -- I had to be standing during every surge (AKA contraction).

Great interview Mike, thanks so much. I have met many raw foodies and long fasters that in my opinion were completely off their rocker, arrogant, know it alls, and exhibiting tons of ego without even knowing it. It’s refreshing to hear that the mind needs to get purified as much as the body does. My mentor has helped me become so much a healthier more spiritual person and had nothing to do with the material diet and everything to do with the non material. I think we can put too much emphasis on diet and it creates so much judgement and illusion. That being said, 4 months veges and fruit! Almost 3 weeks just fruit only between 10-2pm : feeling good! Thanks again Mike and Fred. Inspiring

In meditation I was focused on eating meat versus not. Spirit said “meat makes you heavy”. This was not meaning physical weight. The reference was to vibration. At a later time I was doing some healing of deep trauma and also found out around this time that my blood sugar was off the charts. Again in meditation Spirit spoke this in my mind….”you use food as a measure of self love”

46:12 I completely agree. I have been been eating a plant based diet for 3 and a half years. I have been through many changes. Although I was eating healthy I had anxiety and problems still. I started meditating 9 months ago and things began changing. Funny thing is I started eating more vegan junk food but I was becoming more focused and calm. I studied many spiritual teachers as well. I gained about 16 lbs. during this time of mental improvement. I continue to meditate daily. I decided 3 days ago to do a 2 week juice fast which I have done before. Coupled with my new re-wired brain plus doing straight nutrient juice has been fantastic! The meditation along with the juicefast has focused me even more and I think less about the past and the future. I understand what you are saying. Diet is vital, but spirituality is more vital, coupled together, that's wonderful. I may not share your same concept of god as I do, but that doesn't matter as much as the intent of what we are both doing with our lives. Through meditation I have discovered I am god.

Everything you're saying about Fsith is very true. The more you practice your belief the stronger you get. You dont fear life. Less food is the key to LONGEVITY and lots of energy. I have been intermittently eating for over one yr. I dont want to change because I feel good. Loss 45lbs and more energy. My weight and energy is like when I was in my 30s. Walking juicing and fasting and of course it will bring you closer to God.

I’m happy to hear they are cancer free. The guy Joe Tippen who took this product said he is cancer free too. And other people too who used the same product, it cost only $5.00 a box. He said he will still take the product so cancer will not come back in the future. Lower dosage. He had Small Cell Lung Cancer which is a died sentence. Yes watch the video I would like to know what you think of it.

+EveryDayDetox Darn, I erased this comment thinking it had been posted twice. I'm going to try to rewrite it as I really meant it. (This comment comes after Mike's initial reply.) Oh my goodness, I am so gobbling up your podcasts on itunes! :) I've just listened to the one with Gil Jacobs and I couldn't put it down. Recommendation - don't listen at bed-time. As a beginner, I truly appreciate the depth of conversation and experience. I also like how you interview and that it's not dumbed down. Thanks, Mike. I wonder if you will be posting more podcasts on itunes? (Quickly adds up to watch videos on our rural data plan.)

Would love to know the name of his book. He really needsto put all his wisdom down about life in the 30s and40s because so many would benefit from hearing and learning from the past. I believe older people- of which i am one- really need to share their life experiences with young peoole and really with other people in general, especially his nutritional info. Sharon california

Eating raw brings back youth and strength. No meds will be needed as one grows old. Well, not exactly you get old, but raw food adds youth. All the cooked foods and sweets make people sick and old.
